pet ferret to me is a ferret you can handle without fear of it biting you my ferrets are all my pets but they also do a job as well they come into the house for a run and play but put them down a bury and watch those bunnies fly

any fresh meat but not too much pork kibble now and again but fresh meats the best by far do not feed dog food some feed a bit of cat food but chicken wings good way to go

hi skycat good replies i worked a halfcross last years a hob was very good i think no different to my other domesticated ferrets a tad faster but i got a little jill off someone this year and she is off both wild caught parents the chap i got it off said if you want a worker then the 1st crosses are much better i am hoping to work this little jill but gotta agree they are like grease lighting much much faster {i am not slagging the humble polecat off i work 3 jills myself they are wicked } its just a challenge i want to try myself if it dont work out it will be kept as a pet

spayed 35-50 castration the same antibiotics about 4-15 quid conslatation fee nearly alway a fly in the ointment ! ranging from 10 to 20 quid jill jabs bin told anything from 8 to 20 quid -

you might be right but maybe they are new to hunting got no mates into it , better to ask on here rather than plod on blindly , mind you if my old man hadnt shown me or new no one, i would have read every book under the sun are plenty of books to read up on, but it never hurts to ask people are willing to help people got lots of good tips on this site some not so good but for the most part they come to the rescue of beginners .

gotta agreed with the "one" he got it spot on feed em first then handle them less likely to mouth you play with them handle them as much as you can you cannot handle them enough at this age it will pay off in the end good luck

they are only babies scared, away from there mother all ferrets behave differently just handle them as much as you can hand feed them win there trust its plain sailing from there you only get out wat you put in get them so you can call them play with them its all about getting there trust you will learn much from the way they behave anyway all the very best of luck with them plenty on here will help you

dont really know about kitten spot on i asked the vets and they said they were too strong cannot garrantee they wouldnt be a reaction or worse but i must say for a little bottle of frontline it goes a long way it fecking stinkings as well until it dries plenty of ventilation for the ferrets as well after aplication
