  1. Had to seperate them due to hob been in season and ragging jills, but if you have your hob castrated they should be ok. You'l still need to have jills taken out of season each year, or have them neutered. Hope this helps
  2. If you put two jills with the hob they should be fine, i have recently done this and they are fine together
  3. Go round local farms and ask etc, make sure you get permission or you could end up stepping on someones toes so to speak! Everyone has to do it, its all part of the job!!!!!
  4. I get similar problems with my fingers as im using cement alot and hands going from wet to dry etc i use "climb on bar" available from climbing shops and off internet, is very good you can cut pieces off it to pack into deep cracks or just rub the bar on your hands, it is an antiseptic and also contains anaesthetic, it realy works, you will be impressed!
  5. Is she young? i have a young hob that does the same and just put it down to been young, been told not to expect too much till there second year onwards
  6. Glad you found a partner! Thats what its all about!
  7. Think Mick charges around £3 for a 4' spun poly in any colour including oak pegs, cheers
  8. Mick Dadds spun poly nets are the best iv seen, and i use those along with a few hemp nets, going to knit my on over the summer months i think!
  9. The mk3 and mk3m both woek with the mk1 box mate
  10. £51 cheapest ive seen them but second hand mk1's fetch that aswel if not more, also when you do eventualy change to a mk3 reciever you will have the correct collas already!
  11. Thanks for that mate, makes more sense now have ordered some new batts anyway as the ones supplied tested weak
  12. I know they aren the corect batteries for the mk1 just needed a way to test them, yes i need to buy a tester, im convinced its just the batteries they provide that are crap, it did work but only for a moment, i just held the magnetic keyring to it for a second as per instructions so its either he batteries or the collar is faulty.
  13. I have today recieved the mk3m collar i ordered to use with my mk1 finder, put the supplied batteries in and did as it says to use the magnetic keyring to turn it on, mk1 box didnt pick it up. After some fiddling the box picked it up but then went dead!, i put the bats they had sent in my original mk1 collar and it barely registered. Is there a special way to turn it on with the magnetic keyring that i have misread? or are the batteries deben supply wank! Exuse my potty mouth but they for what they cost i expect it to work, although i bought it due to th high prices which mk1 collars
  14. The worse thing you can do is be jumpy when picking her/them up, When mine was doing this, every time he turned her head to have a go i put him in other hand, and if he/she does bite you try to keep hold of them rather than putting them straight down, easier said than done! As said handle as much as possible, also i used to feed mine bits whilst in my hands, they get used to you, Just my experiance with it
  15. Theres a few on ebay at the moment mate!

  19. Iv got a 15ft Mk1 locator box but no collar, looked on ebay and it would be cheaper to buy a brand new mk3 collar than a second hand mk1 ollar, would this be ok? thanks
