Each state has their own game laws there are some federal wildlife and game laws but those generally apply to migratory species such as ducks and geese.... Arizona has a general lion season that runs state wide in the winter months some hunt units have a multiple bag limit meaning that a hunter may take more than one lion per calender year... Currently there are 3 main big game hunting records keeping organizations and I have heard no mention of them on this site. For those with a curious nature may I suggest a Google of one of these..... 1. Safari Club International - 2. Boone and Crocket - Firearms hunting records... USA 3. Pope and Young - This is strictly an archery organization.. USA Is there a UK or European hunting records organization? Clint Borat on Safari...... SGS

Urban Encroachment is the worst problem worldwide when it comes to wildlife. If I had my way we should re-introduce all of the dangerous predators back on their home turf and let them graze fully protected by endangered species laws on all the friggin worthless immigrants , animal rights wackos and anti gun poof's... Untill there is a sustainable population so I can hunt them.. It would be way cool to hear daily new's reports of how many illegal mexican's are eaten by reintroduced California Grizzly Bears....

The scariest hunting situation I have been in is when I accidently came between a large sow Black Bear and her cubs - She charged me from 25 yards and closed the distance quickly - I guess thats why it is called a charge - I was packing a .45 Colt in a small of the back Concealed Carry Holster - I had just enough time to get the pistol out and the bear was close enough for me to smell her breath - she stopped and and popped her teeth making sounds I never knew bears could make and slapped the ground with both front paw's.
