    ..the thing that amazes me with that type of hunting is the dog's will have had to run to near exhaustion but it does not end there..they then have to deal with a very angry bit of quarry..

    I like either..it's easier to see the general condition of a smooth dog but it's just as easy to feel the general condition of a rough coated dog..im sure it's a personal preference..and the type of coat has nothing to do with the working abilities..

    Awsome stuff.. them dog's seem to have a good bit of pace about them..do many of them yotes ever get away when run in them type's of places..

    Awsome picture's..it look's to me like you had a brilliant day out..i have had a few of them moorhen's with my bird and they can be tricky little thing's to catch especially around any water..

    I would agrree with you 99% of the time mate but some times when all you will be doing is walking muddy field you can't beat a pair of wellies for ease of cleaning. Too true im a bit of a hypocrit at time's as i wear my wellie's when ambling about with the bird or a quick walk with the dog's..but anything full on the wellies get sacked and the boot's are on..

    I've had hunter/ le chameu/aigle and the lot of them are rubbish compared to a good set of high waterproof boot's like the meindl range..

    I used to twist about snaring myself and hated it..but when you learn the advantage of it on unshootable or undogable place's it all fall's into place why it need's doing..crack on and good luck with whatever way you chose to hunt..

    For me personally a good quality base dry food like Uukanuba mixed with the odd bit of minced rabbit/chicken/beef and veg..i have seen some food mentioned on here that i would not feed to rat's.. ..dont forget he/she is only a puppy once so make the best of the early day's..the food i choose is expensive but getting a well formed pup from that is priceless..
