    Hi uk will put ya some more pics..the roof ill use a peace of ply and eather paint with creosote or use clear plastic as I don't like useing elt but that's just my own prefrence...the side I'm going ti use some chicken mesh for the time been as low on funds lol...also over the mesh I use that green netting what they use on the sides off scaffolds...I use this as it stops 95 % of wind and rain and snow .

    Started some new stag pens today just gt the frame sorted ...will chicken mesh And put sides on tomorrow...managed get one done and one all cutt up ready for putting up tomorrow..

    Sharp sand.....kept my birds on it of a while now and never had a problem with them been cacked in mud....it does stick to the bottom off my boots when my boots are wet but it's only a tiny amount and is hardly noticeable....plus when it's a nice dry day it makes excellent dust baths for the birds......I also found that it soaked in the moisture from the birds droppings and don't get that chickens smell lol..... That my two cents worth lol

    Not long ago I put a a topic on about the chicks been bit sneezey ....well the chicks have stoped doing it but today my cock bird did it...only the once ...the thing is I'm not sure if it is any diseases as the chicks and cock and hen all seem fine no other symtoms and today I've been laying decking so there as been plenty of sawdust flying around and at one point the cock was trying to eat it so I'm thinking maybe that's why he sneezed... So anyway here's my question.....if they have got it and I cull my birds how long will it take for the dieses to die off and not be lingering around

    Chicks still seem to be doing this snezz sort of thing ......it's kind of getting me a bit worried but they only do it when outside.....I have had chicks befor but not incubator hatched so as they were with the hen I didn't have to pay as much attention to them as I've had to with bator hatched chicks so it could be normal and I'm just worrying for nothing .....when chicks are out scratitng around for the first couple of times is it normal for them to make this sneezing thing..???????     Had chicks out today in the warm sun for litteraly 5 minits...chucked a bit of chick crumb down on the grass for them have a bit of a scrat about...then all ov a suden they all seemed to have a bit of a sniffle..it wasn't a sneeze but more like they we're trying to blow dust out there nose I've cheked them all and one or two had a tiny bit of clear water by there nostril... Is this normal for chicks [BANNED TEXT] they first start scrating about or do I need be worried??

    just a styro foam one gem .....nothing expensive....however it hatched one clutch out and if I changed the bulb like my gut told me I don't think I would off had this problem
