  1. There is a book called Canine Gladiators by Ed Reid that had some good old photos of a lot of Irish bred dogs. in it. I loaned it out never got it back. Book is very hard to get now.
  2. I use pine shavings in the sheds, rubber matting in some of my kennels and shredded paper in some of my other pens.
  3. Hey guys, I am looking for a tall bedlington dog, just for bushing. My JRTs are all retired now, I want one to runh my Whippets, any ideas? Please no stupid remarks. I am giving up the will to live with these Sites. This is a genuine enquiry.

  5. Have you tried that Piri Piri Sauce, that will put it's arse on fire. One sure fire way to stop it is to either Angle Iron or Dexion.
  6. Hi mate, there is a very good vet who specialises in greyhounds. His name is John O'Conner, I do not know where abouts he is, but he comes well recommended. If you know of anyone who goes down to the Greyhound Track on a Sunday morning, they should help you out. Hope this helps. Regards, WW.
  7. Come on people lets make it day to remember for Dave's memory,
  8. As it says on the tin people. A55, Caerwys Turn Off, CH8 7GH. Starts 9.30am. Hounds, Beagles, Terriers, etc.
  9. Brilliant thread lads, keep it coming. And no bickering.
  10. I agree, another LOCAL STITCH UP. Shame really, they just cannot afford JUDGES from AWAY no wonder it is always a flop. Not like the North Wales Lurcher and Terrier Club, to name one in the North Wales Area.
  11. Nice one mate, that is a good idea using small diameter wire, the terriers cannot chew the wire when it it that small.
  12. This bitch is 3/4 Bull 1/4 Greyhound, 231/2".
  13. No doubt Chirk, look after the North Wales Shows.
  14. Hey people don't forget the Waen Foxhounds show on Monday 2nd May in Trelawnyd, A55 jct 31, LL18 6DN
  15. Hey people don't forget the Waen Foxhounds show on Monday 2nd May in Trelawnyd, A55 jct 31, LL18 6DN
  16. Hey people don't forget one of the best shows in North Wales is on Monday 2nd May Waen Foxhounds at Trelawnyd, A55 jct 31 LL18 6DN
  17. Nothing changes, I have been going to Terrier Shows since 1973. There were no Beer Tents at the FMWTC Shows held in Llangollen, but there was always trouble. The pubs in the town made a fortune, we one drank thr RAF Club dry. In the end it was the drink that helped that Brilliant Show fold. Shame, you live and learn. George Hardy was a Pillar to that Club, he had so much respect Nationwide. People came from the four corners of the UK to that Show. The World changes, sometimes not for the Better.
  18. Here's my 3/4 Bull 1/4 Greyhound, 17 months old, approx 23".
  19. How an you tell that there is Border in that pup. I know for a FACT that line is decended from black stuff.
  20. I have had in the past a BeaglexHarrier and a GriffonxHarrier, the Beagle Cross was much better than the Griffon Cross, he was hunting cover and speaking on a line at about 41/2 months old, I never had a problem with recall with him, they were both hunted in a Bobbery Pack of Lurchers, Terriers an ESS and a GSP. The only problem was the Griffon Cross, she had no recall whatsoever.
  21. I remember going to Dave's first Terrier Show and thought how much input he had put into making his Show a success, I never missed one after that, then he invited me and my Hunting Partner to come hunting with him. We never looked back. I am Sorry I did not know you Longer. You will be a hard act to follow mate. Save me a place on the other side. I will never forget you.
