  2. You must be joking. There is zero around Llandudno, Conwy lads have messed it up for everyone. I should know I have lived here all my life. If you are into running dogs on bad places for a rabbit carry on. Another messer.
  3. Thank you all. Some decent replies and suggestions.
  4. Thank you for a decent and valid comment, much better than some. It must be really lonely on some of these people's planets. My mate's just bought an ex-coursing bitch, I will have to ask him nicely.
  5. With the greatest respect in the world, I had the dog's litter sister and she has taken all quarry in the UK, obviously pre-ban. I have run this dog with someone who has seen the litter sister run, and he has suggested to get another something to breed with as the dog is worth breeding out of. That is all I am saying, no pun. No Bull. P.S. The reason I got rid of his litter sister is she had a taste for mutton, no good in Wales.
  6. Yes mate, I have pictures but they are too big to go on here. If you pm me I will send you them. Thank.
  7. Fair comment, I am starting to get out a lot more and am starting to get lots of invitations to hunt pastures new. Godd to know that I have some good NEW friends.
  8. I have a BullxGreyhound Dog which is second generation bred. He is now coming up to seven years old, he has not done as much as I would have liked but lack of land has not helped. The question is he is not getting any younger, and I would like to get another bitch to breed with him to keep the line going. He is 24" and around 70lb . I have a twelve month old bitch out of him, but she is 3/4 Bull 1/4 Greyhound and is 22", not big enough for foxes and maybe she is a bit heavy. So I am thinking about buying in a Bull bred Lurcher bitch, but how much Bull would be acceptable in the Bitch so that I
  9. Try white fish or chicken and boid rice, works on my dogs.
  10. I use pine shavings, it lasts days longer and it smells nice.
  11. Here is a snap of my first cross, approx 24", 70lb. I am not going to fall into the trap of telling you him working history/record for obvious reasons. This thread is full of bitchiness. All I will say is he suits me. I also owned his sister who has taken all known British Quarry apart from WB, unfortunately she also liked mutton. No doubt there will be some shit coming my way, but who cares.
  12. Here is a snap of the Wheaten pup we had here, I think he ended up about seventeen inches, I don't know whether that is big or small.
  13. I had a Wheaten dog pup here about ten years ago. I think he came direct from Tom Parr, what a dog, he was fearless at eight weeks old. I will root the snaps out.
  14. Here are a couple of snaps of two of my Whippets, Bacster, Sire to my six month old Whippet, Brin. He is 211/2" at the moment. Don't know how much more he will grow.
  15. Here are a couple of snaps of my BullxWhippet, 21!/2".
  16. What's wrong with the Fell and Moorland Working Terrier Club?
  17. The guy's name is Ashley Benson, he is bang on. His number is 07912479040.
  18. I have been feeding all my yard dogs on flesh and bone for the last twelve years, I have had no real problems. My Vet who was a well respected dog vet told me also not to feed them bones, I took no notice of him. I think there are more positives tan negatives feeding them on this diet.
  19. Just watched those vids, absolutely outstanding. Why can't we get something like this in North Wales. If you don't get excited by this, you are not alive.
  20. I have used Michael Powers on a number of occasions. He is 100%.
  21. I have had dealings with a Top Breeder in the KC world. She has a KC reg Dandie Dinmont bitch that she can't stop going to ground. The down side is the are a £1000 a pup if you can get hold of one, they only have very small litters. This is a top class show bitch.
  22. Come along and support one of the best Hunt Shows in Wales, situated in the Heart of the Welsh Lake District.
