    dogs are lactrose intolerent , give goats milk if you must ,not cows milk wouldnt bother with eather acid stomach it will curdle it was goats milk , but thanks ill know for future reference

    thanks for the replies, vet told me to starve him to 24 hours and as for the milk it was just a little bit mixed with water as i was told the dog would drink milk quicker than water (he tried it) so got more of a response with it than anything ... he should be ok it was just incase he did eventually dehydrate.. Nicole.

    hes not vomiting and i wouldnt say he has diarrhoea as its not just as runny, it has mucas and blood through it, thats how i know he has it again as hes had it before and vet said once a dog gets it once it can flare up again witch they neglected to tell me until today when he got it again, hes on dry red mills but now im having to change it to sensitive food, hes fine apart from not drinking water and im scared he will become dehydrated..

    hi my dog MoChara suffers from gastroenteritis and colitis, he is at present on his second time of getting it, only problem is he wont drink any water... tried adding milk and putting some into a syringe and putting it into the side of his mouth none have worked, if he dosnt get some water into him soon its a trip to the vets for a drip, cant give him any food so giving him a tin of meat is out of the question... any idea`s before he has to go to the vets as he really gets stressed out and frets if he has to stay overnight?     Im the exact same.. i can handle most things but when it comes to spiders noooo wayyy!!! I get laughed at all the time because of it... o and im scared to bee`s since i got stung when i was wee.. sat on the bugger
