I like PORTER style drinks that come in around 6% and like to make it from scratch though if you like to make it from Sachets you can use MANGROVE JACK Pouches these are very good and only take 10 minutes to make plus Fermentation and conditioning costing around £15 for 40 pints , my Mrs has made very strong Beers in the past including Russian Imperial and Belgian Stouts and though tasting ok they are just to strong to drink like normal Beer, if there is a type of Beer that you are fond of just get in touch with a Craft Beer supplier and they will provide you with the Grain , Yeast , Ho

The Rats are coming off of the fields and finding their way into my Log store and over the past few weeks i have caught 9 Rats and a Cat , yesterday i saw that something had dug into the cage from the back ... i filled the hole with Peat and this morning the Peat had been dug out and the Tunnel reformed so now we have a problem because this one is100% trap shy . ??????

Yes but not as many , these should do well they are on good Muck and will get full Sunshine they are indivual grow bags with more room and food , never had a problem with store bought bags other than in hot weather you tend to wash the soil of the Roots

This year we are going to do around 60 GARDENERS DELIGHT 10 HERITAGE BLACK RUSSIAN and some Stripey b*****ds most will go in plastic bags with 9 inch of 6 year old hoss Shit topped up with 6 inch of Compost ,other than stabbing the Bags and a pinch of Slug pellets we are ready to go as soon as the ground cheers up .

My Mrs bought some Breast of Lamb from our Butchers who we have used for many Years ,2 Breasts total Weight 4 1/2 lbs [just over 2 Kilo s] £16 . .50 , we usually buy in bulk but this was a one off .

My Mrs always work on a ratio of 3lb of sugar per 1 lb of fruit mainly because she always uses a heat mat which gives a better fermentation todays brew is 2 1/2 gallons of Carrot Wine , the recipe is a simple one and can be found on BREW BITZ,

I have some and like most BGs the kill anything that gets in them but if i were buying more traps i would just have the 116 simply because it gives you more options and for me it is easier to handle

We have just racked our Sloe Wine and it is almost perfect, she has made over ten Gallons and it has surpassed all expectations in fact it is one of the best She has made and over the last 50 years she has made a lot , Sloe Wine is easy to make and Sloes are easy to pick you need 15 LBs to make 5 Gallons plus 15 LBs of Sugar , as i said this is probably the best Hedgerow Wine i have ever had and next season we might go for 25 gallon

I have been given some Potato bags and set them today for First earlies , never done it before but they are on 5 inches of compost and covered by another 4 i will top up with well rotted Hoss Shit do's this sound about right.?

i intend to grow quite a lot of Runner Beans this season and have been told that Wood Pigeons will be a real problem as well as Rabbits and i would need to Net every thing i grow , the Rabbits will be easy to keep off but do i have to cover the fully grown Bean Plants or just the Seedlings and what is the best Mesh to get bearing in mind i will need a large amount .

Your trap should fit snug in the hole with 15 mill space all round it [sides and top ] The trap shoud be bedded down firmly so it does not MOVE The trap should not be set lower than the orginal run Cover with Peat [i used to use my old Tomato grow bags ] Check the backof the trap will hit the roof of the tube the same time that the front does I see there is not a Pin on your trap .... if that is the case something will soon f**k off with your next catch . The Fenn is a crap trap and i would not use them again as they only realy work well in a BOX that has
