cheers cocker i am just trying to get some history on mine now..its all solid silver couplings on it and iam nearly sure it was presented at the waterloo cup its got engraved on it that it was presented to joseph furness houghall 1869 i think houghall is a place not sure yet iam waiting for a email .the silver has patent mark on it and a hallmark..it a real nice looking double slip.best i have ever seen up to date..i not sure if it was presented in 1869 or a bit later ..i think it was presented to a slipper in the waterloo cup..i will know later.,.i do know that master magrath won the cup in
