why dint it just jump on its back straight away it would off got across the ditch then . .my dog was once chaseing a hare and couldnt catch it so it stopped and shouted in hare lingo come here mate and when the hare came running back it nabbed it now thats a clever dog....

get it outside its healther for them ..the only trouble you might have is wingeing because its been inside and nows its nice and warm..if you can put up with that for a week or so do it and if it nips anyone give .it slap they can make a mess of sombody if it bites when its older especaily a child it needs to no who the boss is from day one..you dont have to kick the shit out off it just be firm...good luck..and just make sure the kennels draft free and has some warm bedding...

iam not bigging the dog up whin but he does very well on them on the lamp the fields arent to big round me and on the lamp they struggle to get out. and like you said pal your right he is some dog a bit of good breeding behind him helps.. i dont need to bullshit i live in north lanc,s if you would like to and have shine..pm me if your intrested...

do you no what pissers me off people who dont read threads correctly for a start my dogs never seen a blue hare thy are brown near me ..and i also said it catchers them for fun on the lamp i also said that day time hares are a different animal even tho hes had a few in the day and i said 10 1/2 months old whats your problem..would you like to see for yourself??????

just wondering if anyone has caught one of these majestic creatures with a lurcher ...in there winter coat or in the change when they are blue.. i would exspect it would have to be a very versertile dog to nail one of these in that rough terrain... some of your tales of your catches would be good to hear..and pics if you have got any...i think this one is proberly for the scot lads .. wipe the fooker off ian salukigeyhounds beat me to it......

I had something to say, so I said it, just because you don't like what I said doesn't mean that it was not worth posting... constructive advice on the real question, your dog is 13 months, has killed on top, I take it with his bull blood he has a very strong jaw and is more than capable of killing a fox.... he is old enough now, if you think he's ready then he's ready, there's only one way to find out.... might jade him a bit if there is a big dog fox in there that latches on to his nose and he cant pull it out... might ruin him, but hey just remember you could have shot the fecker then an

i know the artist very very well some of his stuff is superb hes been doing this sort of thing for forty years i also no there was seven differrent prints lurcher with fox lurcher onto hare ..terrier batteling with fox ect..ect ..i also no when he did them in the early 90.s he put ten away of each of them and they are in perfect order i am seeing him tommorow iam going to put some of them for sale on here they are not framed ... hope you will all have a look.....

dont wait till spring frank GET IT NOW.it will be perfect for next season and plenty of action threw the summer to bring it on... i also read somewhere that there better having there injections at twelve weeks because if you give them earlier there mothers imune system is still active in the pup so the injections dont work to there full potencial.. dont no how true this is. .. just get the fooker if the dog has got what you want bred in it ...good luck..

depends on the weather pal if its windy or raining i tend to turn it of and get nearer as they wont hear you the same with the wind and the rain drowning out your footsteps .. but if its fairly still i keep the light on them as the beam seems to keep em still ..not always but most of the time..i suppose it depends on how lamp shy they are and what kind of terrain your on they tend to sit tighter if the ground is a bit rough..or the grass is a bit longer as the think you cant see them ..hope this helps pal .i no some people lamp different ways but how i do it seems to work for me...
