I was just thinking how to get this explained as simple as humanly possible. The government needed money to pay for furlough etc this year so the BOE prints X billions of pounds and buys bonds (government debt), now the government has the money to throw around like confetti. I imagine that there aren't many real customers for our 'bonds' since they pay out almost nothing or even you would lose money. The BOE can also print money and buy assets from banks like mortgage backed securities, this means the banks now have more money to lend out, lowering interest rates and encouraging bank

Central banks can print money (electronically) and buy bonds and other assets. The ECB did this for Greece, the Bank of England has done it and the US Federal Reserve has also done it massively this year by 'printing' (creating) at least 6 trillion dollars. If you really want to understand this there are good videos on George Gammon's youtube channel but it will pickle your head. I've had schoolies here on Anglesey in Jan, Feb and March. I recon they have to stay close for the food as they won't survive the deep water. A mate of mine had a 6 Lber around this time last year. But the problem is the fecking wind! 40 mph is nothing here lol My daughter (12 at the time) has the record for bass in this house with one close to 5Lb, as she does for most species ? I only beat her trout record last year the little bugger! I'll stick some pics up soon from the last couple of years since I've been away for a while. This year's been a bust for obvious reasons.

I agree on this and also an earlier comment that you made about throwing enough mud until something sticks which is what the Democrats have also done over the last 4 years and you know what? I think it could work. Even Alan Dershowitz has explained that there is even a way that Trump wins just by denying Biden the 270 electoral college votes rather than actually winning them.

This is how my thought process has worked on this and other events. I imagine writing or reading a history book 30 years in the future. The next chapter either starts with the failure of America First and the slow decline in to Marxism and decline while China becomes the dominant Superpower. Or America turning back into a more normal country, pulling back from the world and then rebuilding and innovating itself for what comes next and taking on China to remain the top super power. I'd be happy with a flipping recount and audit and put it to bed. It will go on till December for sure now and eventually China's getting all the blame lol I still expect Trump to be president no matter what but it could be an unconventional way.
