I decided to take my 4 month old black Lab fishing to get him used to being out with me and for some company. As I aim to use him as a gun dog should I keep him on a peg next to me or is it ok to let him roam around? I started out with him on a short lead on a screw in peg but he whined and I let him off for the whole day. He was very good and just pottered about looking around the rabbit warrens. When I see people use their labs for shooting it seems to me like they have to sit still next to the owner for ages at a time. So can I gain something from taking him fishing and should I let hi

I've worked with arabs and north africans for years, in my experience they are all lazy (cultural rather than racial reasons) especially compared to people from other parts of the world (not just white european). I would even go as far to say in my own experience more than 90% of those I'v e worked with are lazy. Now if I made a documentary saying that the arabs or north africans are so bloody useless and lazy that us Europeans have to go over there to extract their oil for them there would be uproar no matter how true it was.

I see where you are coming from. I would like to see kids learn where food comes from properly instead of visiting a petting zoo at a farm which is pretty much the closest they get. I supose thats why we have the fluffy bunny brigade in the first place. I read somewhere that there used to be a much closer link between town and countryside as the food used to literally walk in to town and people saw it in it's true form when the farmers brought it to market. I dont dispute that there are lazy brits but how ironic that the BBC, who where ever possible will put a so called cross section of society in every program, only chose a bunch of white people. This clearly implies that the useless unemployed are all white. Secondly several of them were willing to have a decent crack but they supervisors were clearly incited to needle them or put them under presure. I couldn't believe my eyes when I watched this. We all know our politicians have allowed a new class of people to form who don't want to work but to paint all X million of the white (only white by the way) unemployed as lazy and useless is utterly disgusting. The way those american farmers do it is by using GM seed and factory farming. NOt so great in my opinion. I'm no tree hugger but I dont want to eat meat from animals that are fed anti biotics and god knows what else to stop them developing disease. Those farmers are also getting paid shite money from what I've read, and they are over a barrel for years if they want to keep the deals with the companies that buy the meat/food. I know it's biased but have you watched 'Food Inc'?

I thought I'd post a couple of pics from today when we were at the park. I'd got him inocculated and I'd had him on a short lead at the park a few times and we're just getting to know the walkers and dogs. I've let him off a couple of times but he's only coming back to recall when he's not distracted so I chose my moments when he's being good. He will sit almost everytime I tell him but it's up and down on the rest of the commands like down, heel and roll over. most BNP suporters will be ok with this it's just a throw back from the old days and they have always been trying to make a point over why whites shouldn't have a group just for them when muslims/blacks etc do. Our Lab was getting us at ungodly times in the am. After reading some advice on here I changed his feeding routine so he was eatting in the morning, 1pm and then at 9pm or even later. We let him go out for the toilet right before we go to bed and then put him in his crate with the telly left on quiet, the hall door shut, some cuddly toys and his other posesions. We've had him something like 3 weeks now and he's been getting better now and doesn't get us up till 6:00 or 6:30. Luckily he's allowed out in tot he real world now so I can walk him a few times round the block to tire him out as

It was an unlicenced weapon I'm very suprised the police haven't gone after him for that. Compare that to that Ex soldier who found a gun in his garden and handed it in and got done for it. We need clear rules and laws that don't make it a lottery depending on the judge or current political mood.

Cheers took him done to the vets. He's got a stomach bug and I've been sent away with a few pills etc for him. Will be putting that update up soon as I've had a full nights sleep

Hi all I've been meaning to post an update and some more pics but to be honest we're all utterly shattered. Ollie our new Lab pup has worn us out getting us up at night early mornings etc. Anyway aside from that he's been pretty good up to yesterday. In the morning he had food and went out for the toilet as usual. At lunch time I am doing training before he gets his food and I give him some of his food as rewards to him doing what I ask. I'd string him and the rest of his crooked party up. The thing I never understood was while waging his ilogical wars in two seperate muslim countries why he then allowed millions of them in. That would be like letting in millions of germans during the second world war. While most of us in the UK don't see those two wars being against Islam as such the muslims do. What is the difference between using a greyhound and a lurcher? Did the sports develop seperately? I read somewhere that the Lurchers were bread by gypsies in Ireland for catching hares for food. Also when they run two dogs does the dog that catch the hare win or are they working as a team?
