Tomo but hunting and this has nothing in common...to prolong a death doesn't sit right with me. .I don't enjoy the death of any animal...but yes I do enjoy the pursuit ..I no were your coming from lads it's just not for me.

I don't hunt for fun mate... my dogs hunt as it's a natural thing for dogs to do..and it wouldn't be right not to let them do so.hunting had nothing atall to do with putting a animal in a ring and killings slowly by stabbing it to death.if folk get a kick out of that fair play..no bother to me...

Worse than a ferret getting a rabbit up a stop end by its eye and keeping it there for half an hour while you dig down and then break its neck? Come on fella. Not one of us on here can condemn another man for animal cruelty. People in glass houses and all that. That has nothing to do with a bull being stabbed to death for entertment.

The thing is no two dogs are the same...same as people.we all do things differently ,some start the dogs of young some not so young..in both cases it works for the owner..or maybe not.. myself would be very uneasy with starting the pup of with a mower though. I have never done it myself but I would think a good well seasoned mower could sicken such a young dog very fast. Each to there own though.but a do agree with what socks has said...
