  1. Hi Dullahan. Sorry to hear of your stroke mate, and that you have to give up your hunting. Wish you luck with the sale of your kit, and also with the Book. I will place my order now for the book, I bet it will be a corker after 60 years in the field, a few stories to tell a mate ? All the best. Bill.
  2. Hi Welshlad, try a bit of gentle heat on it, use an old Bean can and cut out the shape of the block, then place that over it to protect the barrel, and hopfully only heat up the sight block, then have another tap at it. Hope that makes sense Bill.

  8. Hi Jam1. Re the Bipod, the Harris 9 to 13 inch is a good one. Gives you fair adjustment for uneven ground, and also a bit of hieght if you need it in the spring summer to shoot over the long grass, stubble etc. Well made too, the swivel head is worth the extra money, just my thought's mate. Bill.
  9. Hi Garrick. I use two piece on my HW100 and have had no problems at all. The Rifle hold's zero very well. Some folk's like the one piece mounts, because they say it braces the two parts of the action, but to be honest, I have had no problems at all with the two piece mounts, all down to personal choice buddy. The Sidewinder is an excellent scope, got the same one on my HW100 and cant fault it, the only problem I feel, is that we are adding even more wieght to what is already a heavy rifle. Nearly all my shooting with the HW100 is off the bipod in static position, so it does no

  21. Hi Matt Cheer's mate I know what you mean re the earlier Napiers, not good from the Rifle at all, grouping was terrible. I think Napier have a winner on thier hand's with these UPH Pellets. Have tried the Napier lube on the Superdomes, to be honest, not a lot of difference. ATB. Bill.
  22. Hi Lewdan. Nice shot mate, another Roland out of the way. Bill.
  23. Hiya Wurz. Reading this with interest mate. I have no experience with the Alloy cylender ( Didnt know there was one ) Be interesting to see how much wieght you can drop off her, when you do it ATB. Bill.
  24. Hiya guy's. Well I finaly got to the range to try out the Napier UPH Pellets. ( Paying for it now ) Against all the normal preperation for changing pellet types in ther rifle, I did not clean the barrel and re lead it before the trial. Niether did I clean between using the two different types. First off I checked zero with the Napier UPH, against my settings for RWS Superdomes, and was not realy supprised, that there was very little if any difference. You can see from the picture, that the Napiers produced a respectable group. I went from Zero at 30yds, straight back to 50y
