  13. Hi. This piece of air gun history has only come up for sale because I have found and bought myself a L/H Walnut BSA S10 ................ its been a long search. The Scorpion SE has been Re-worked - Blueprinted - Regulated - Tuned and fettled by the master himself John Bowkett, a lot of work and money has gone into this rifle. John made a special regulator to fit my SE, the rifle can be filled to 250 bar, which will return 95 regulated shots approx. The Avg Muzzle velocity when I last chronoed was 597FPS using Defient 14gr 5.52s. giving the rifle 11.08FTLB approx, and will pro

  15. I wonder if they would replace 10 tins if they all sucked? I think a lot of times it's down to the supplier, i order from BAR and am halfway through my last batch of ten tins WITHOUT any problems. It is also the same with my JSB's, all in .22. The delivery always comes well packaged I reckon you sorted the tins and gave me all the crap!!!! Telepathic or what :boogy: No........just burnt
  16. You can get the length down, i have one that's 36 1/2 inches long and weighs less than an Ultra ms Has to hold it with both hands too

  18. Here in Devon, last year, there were huge numbers of kits showing, some of which we put to rest. This year, from what I have heard from the farm hands, its gone crazy, my shooting buddy has also reported large numbers of kits about the place. There may be areas that are getting a good hammering, by hunters, netters, dog men, long netters etc, but there are also areas that are thriving beyond belief.
  19. Should have gone to spec-savers ...............Billy
  20. Why would they publish a load of crap, whats to gain? Can you honestly say an article like this will sell more papers????.....I think not Mixy isnt as prodominant as it was years ago ( Thank God ), and natural predators are not there in numbers anymore. The figures talked about covers the whole country, not selected areas. Granted some areas are hammered, but you wont get them all. you may think you have. Warmer winters and climate are aiding the breeding no end.

  22. Hi Darryl. Not tried them yet, but on my list to do Consistancy and quality of the Defients is brilliant, which is what us shooters need..........., some of the gash thats out there is terrible for quality. With the effort we put into selecting, conditioning, and trials, its nice to start off on the right foot from the beggining, if possible. Just out of interest, have a look at a few pellets under a magnifying glass ( A bit anal I know ) but when you see the variations in shape and head size, not to mention varying skirt thickness and balance. Easy to see then why some of u
