Probably second best litter in the country this year lol, jokes aside, get them snapped up boys very well bred pups, shocked there's any left Martin tbh. I know the sires line very well best of the best !!!
I know Gareth well he's even told me about 2 papers for all his bitches trick where he mates them every 6 months I had a nice bitch of him till the penny dropped as I was only a young lad at the time.bit of a alcoholic aswell so good bit of beer money for him
Rat one is a small brindle whippet owned by a peddler never seen any proper work more used as a breeding machine as was all the bitches Gareth had kennels at the time. Nothing special if I can remember rightly his sire was sooty dam or very closely bred
Been out with a pack from Yorshire couple times few years back, top little pack more fun to watch for me than hounds. I have a bitch here absolutely brilliant on rabbit with one hell of a voice. She's not seen many Charlie till this season her 3rd she's doing ok not as good as are own dogs but should get there buy end of the season. I'd of loved her from a pup she'd never of seen a rabbit and I'd of shown her other quary as rabbits ain't my thing tbh.
i guess it was about time someone had to say it lolI think I speak for 99% of thl saying this but the guy grates on you !!! thinks he invented hunting he knows everything, move over j darcy your about to loose your crown. The guy will be here shortly with all the Answers as he has a answare for everything. He needs to get out more and leave his camera at home !!!!! Or is he taking pics for his next book lol
Some pathetic reading lads thanks for the laugh. Simple really his dog his choice ! If you don't agree with it stick your opinions up your arses he ain't asked anyone for it !!! And continue with your own shitty lives.
So it's true Gaz there your first two dogs anything over twelve months is a adult. The Plummer was the best you've seen but to slow I've heard you saying! not to mention it going to ground getting lost for days on end, you did a good job with that one lol. also when the lad sold you the bull X cocker he told you it was bushing, if she weren't doing anything when you had her she needed longer to settle plus it was over weight and out of shape as the lads circumstances had changed. I have one here took 3 weeks to settle she's flying now. You got an answare for everything and comment on nearly ev
Gaz you've had a adult Plummer and adult cocker bull your first two bushing dogs, which one was a more a digging bitch. so what have you had before them that you have taught to work cover from a pup buy chucking stuff in, genuine question. I to know of nobody who has used this method you talk about.
There be no good working a one on one on are land to much cover for one dog, they soon learn to spread out and find quary. Every one does things different there's no right or wrong
Also seen bushing pups having one on one and them not wanting to go to far from you, bonded to you like a lurcher. this is quite common as I've seen 4 now. Let it do its own thing with the rest of the pack, most dogs will bush rabbits its the easiest to get them to do ! if it's specific quary like fox it's harder to get them going specially if you have started them on bunnys.. I try my best only to show them reds I stay away from rabbits as much as possible.
Do not let it run around cover with a lurcher Ffs, I always put mine on the slip and let the pup run around with the bushers. At one point the pup was singing on the lurcher when I let her run around.
I payed 300 pound for a beagle cocker of a fella on this forum he bred her mother straight away on her next season and he had already taken a litter from her before he bred mine. Sells them on pets for homes as pets.
