Hi there, I have an immaculate Simmons WTC 3.5-10 x 50 Scope for sale, or preferably to swap for a decent mil-got scope i'm open to offers. My scope is still boxed, as new and with the original cleaning cloth, bits of paper and polythene bags. It's been mounted on my s400, but i've never really used it - can't get permission! Any more questions send me a message Cheers Tristan

Haha! Yeah! Cheers for the heads up! It's just made me think of the following line from the film King Pin: Roy Munson: "Morning! I hope you don't mind, I got up a little early. So I took the liberty of milking your cow for you. Yeah, it took a little while to get her warmed up. She sure is a stubborn one. Then pow, all at once." Mr. Boorg: "We don't have a cow. We have a bull." :11: Disgusting but :clapper: :clapper: Cheers MigMog

.177 for fur .22 for feather as the saying goes. Only, you'll be shooting both, so why not go for the compromise and get the .20? You can get the Theoben Rapid S type, which has the magazine function, a detachable 'buddy bottle' for your air supply so you can keep a few in the car. If you upgrade to an F.A.C one day, it's easily increased in power. It's pricey, but then so is the Daystate. All of the current Daystate range are noteworthy too. Basically, if you've decided to splash out on a rifle, spend as much as you can afford and you wont regret it. A rifle isn't a 'sensible' purchase from a

Hey Sean, Thanks for that. I didn't know offering the land owner the quarry was the done thing. What do you knock on his door at the end of each shoot? Doesn't that pi** him off???? Sorry, not my own permission before so i know NOTHING. Any other hunter-landowner etiquette i should be aware of? I had hate to land me some permission then piss the land owner off by seeming rude! just ask the landowner at the time of gaining permission if they require any rabbits etc.....some of mine dont want any but others take a few rabbits a week............i just leave them in a pre-arranged place

Back ground & Break up your outline... Gotchya Si - i'm taking notes! Hey, i read a book not long ago called 'sniper on the eastern front' Basically it's an account of the experiences of a sniper in the Wehrmacht, on the Russian front, during World War 2 - not a desirable place to be by the sound of it! Unlike the Russians, zie German snipers were few and far between. They didn't have time for Ghillie Suits as they were called from on trench to another doing counter-sniping; then covering their guys withdrawl when they finally bogged off back to Germany! Anyway, the guy in questio

Nice one buddy! I went for the S400 - wish i had gone for the 410 now! Fingering a .177 every shot sucks big ones.... ! Yeah, what the other guy said about the blueing. Oh, and Phantom informs me that filling it up to 180 bar, fire five shots to drop it to 175 bar, then from there you get 40 good shots in the rifles 'sweet spot' Surrounded by badgers huh? Sounds like Harry Hill's wet dream!
-
Good luck lads! I hope i get some good accounts to read tomorrow!

Not sure which permission to go to huh? Someones living the dream!!! one day, i'll be to make a post like that! Good luck matey!

Zini's Mil Dot Trajectory chart

They're both spelled the same. One is a verb, one an adjective. Pronounced "elab-rut" - that's the adjective, meaning complex, intricate etc. Pronounced "elab-or-ate" - is the verb, meaning add detail, explain etc
