Another way of looking at it is those members who keep banging on about how effective their super mustelids are compared to bog standard ferrets have been for the most part, conspicuous by their absence in the 'ferreting report' section on here. If they offered that much over a standard ferret, the reports section should be full of threads containing bigger than usual bags.. I've not noticed any this season..   18. Smaller strain ferrets do exist and can play a role in a full days ferreting, however I have never termed them as "micros" like some do. As for EU Poleys, it is noticeable that some are quick to criticise their existence in the field but cannot pass on their personal experience. That speaks volumes...........
