  1. I've always fed my dogs dry food til I switched to raw about a year ago and the difference is noticable. Ultra clean teeth, better coat, more toned, more energy, I'd never give my dog dried or tinned food ever again.
  2. Gutted!!!!! Sorry to hear that mate!
  3. ahh, so did I!! sorry, must learn to read! Snap lmbo sorry lads must be the way l wrote it or something??? I thought it said it's 1/4 and 7 months old, didn't realise it was 2 dogs.
  4. 7 months? As above. 7 months it's still a VERY young pup. Why are people in so much of a fecking rush to start pups off? Give em time, more so with a lot of the bigger/greyhoundy types As l said not my pup and not the way l bring my own up but everyone till there own so less pup and more about 1/4 bull 3/4 greys pls No probs, I appreciate that everyone has their own way of doing things, it's just that the last few years it seems that most people who are getting involved with terriers and lurchers can't wait to get them started. The bigger or more greyhoundy a pup is the m

  6. you can tell when a ferret's fat because it's belly will be soft when you pick it up and it'll just feel fat. If it was big boned it'd feel solid. You don't usually get big boned jills to be fair, at least I've never seen one. So they probably are overweight.
  7. mine was 19 inches at 5 months, and now at 9 months she's 21, she's gone a fair bit longer though so she looks a lot bigger even though she's only 2 inches higher, she was all legs at 5 months!
  8. hows it bred ???????? bull/grey x wheaten/whippet/grey
  9. Here's mine, not done anything yet as she's only 9 months but she's 21 inches.
  10. gutted! can't you take it back and get a refund? say there's summat wrong with it?
  11. I love the fact he gives all the details of the model of tractor etc......you kinda love your work on the farm a little too much Paul, in more ways than one!
  12. If I were you I'd get rid of the wife and just get yourself an old tractor battery and a box of kleenex, imagine that....raging boners and none of the grief that usually comes with it!!!
  13. I did the same with a motorbike, but I signed over the log book to the person who bought the frame. I guess it's be the person who bought the chassis with a car? do you still have their details?
  14. So the ban being lifted all hinges on a few words on The Hunting Life Sorry bloke, I ain't having it. No, not at all....but it does highlight the intelligence, motivations and opinions of a lot of people who are involved in hunting. Whether they're the minority, or the majority, it doesn't really matter. The fact is that it's the actions of these people that gets noticed and publicised the most and that's why lurcher men have such a bad reputation, simple as that. I can't really be bothered to get involved in a drawn out discussion on what has caused the ban, and what makes the s
  15. It's not too late, what he should do is cut down their food (but not starve them!) and slim them down over the summer, give them plenty of exercise, whether it's on a lead and harness or free running, and then when the season starts just get them out and give them a go. They won't necessarily be brilliant workers but they'll probably have a go and they'll bolt a few rabbits. Even ferrets that have been kept as pets for years could bolt a few rabbits if they're fit enough. Nothing worse than a proper fat ferret though, but he's got a few months to get them in some sort of shape before next s
  16. I was thinking that, could do with some of that myself!

  18. As far as I'm aware the main reason why you shouldn't really feed any animal raw pork is the same reason why you need to make sure it's properly cooked before you eat it, pigs eat rats/mice etc. and therefore usually have worms, if your ferrets eat raw pork from a pig with worms they'll probably get worms aswell, that's what I thought anyway, I might be wrong though. And Burny2011 is possibly the biggest cock on THL, and that is saying something!!!!
