loads of people say that, and they might be right...but not many people would be willing to spend the night on their own in an old empty house in the middle of nowhere that's allegedly haunted, I know I fekkin wouldn't!!! Have you ever looked at this scientifically, or looked at what's more likely? You saw a dark shape whilst squinting at the sun which disappeared later. Stare at any light and you will see a dark circle for a few seconds, why would you jump to a supernatural explanation? Or even if there was a person walking and they proceeded to fall down a hole, which then unfortunately collapsed etc it would still be more likely than a supernatural explanation. We know holes exist, we know how gravity works and we know it could happen, we also know what can't happen. There is a very simple scientific answer

Thanks for this, some good info there. The bulk of my pups exercise at the moment is running through woodland, running and jumping through undergrowth and trees, and when it's rained I give her a good run out on the fields but I must admit I don't do a lot of road work, is it advisable I do this or will free running on a variety of terrain cover everything. Road walking bores me senseless to be honest but if it needs doing then I'll have to start doing it I guess?

If our small brains can't comprehend everything in the universe (which I totally agree with), then we don't know everything about everything so things will be real that we don't know about....surely?? I think there probably is some element of truth in this ghost lark but until I see it myself I take everything I hear with a big pinch of salt.

I've read loads of stuff on here about how some of the bigger lurchers and greyhounds suffer from having bad feet and was just wondering.........is it possible to toughen up feet or is it a case of a dog either has tough feet or it doesn't? For example, lots of people say greyhounds get a lot of foot injuries, whether it's because they have bad feet or they don't necessarily have bad feet but the feet they do have just can't cope with an animal of that weight running that fast. RSPCA press release: Friday 27 May 2011 The RSPCA and police are appealing to dog walkers in Cross Hills, Keighley, to take care after several dogs fell ill and died after being walked along the same footpath. The footpath, off Station Road, is a popular area for dog owners to walk their pets. North Yorkshire police and the RSPCA received calls after seven dogs died between Friday 20 and Wednesday 25 May. Another dog died yesterday (26 May). One veterinary practice in the area admitted five dogs which were suffering from seizures and died shortly afterwards. A
