just my input, and I've said this before......sure it probably does take a well bred GSD to be a top class guard dog, but 99.9% of people don't need a top class guard dog. They just need something that looks the part and barks, simple as that. Simo has said many times Dobermans are shit and most can't make good guard dogs, but I can guarantee that unless you've got a few hundred grands worth of jewellery in your house a burgular will not risk going into your house/yard if you've got any dog that's above average size that could potentially do you some pretty serious damage. it reminded me of an incident with my ex wife. I had a car that'd been on the drive for 6 months without being used, so I decided to sell it but obviously needed to give it the once over first. It wouldn't start so I pushed it back down the road and told my wife to get in, ignition on, stick it in first and then come off the clutch when I bang on the roof......I pushed it, banged on the roof, she took her foot off, the car started and she proceeded to drive across two neighbours gardens and then finally brake and stall the car again. So I had to push it back across the neighbours gardens on

Without doubt its your fault !.......To get that much detail on the situation you could of quite easily shouted out to get the handbrake on as it became clear the car was going for a nosedive..........hope you got fully comp insurance,infact id fully expect plod to be on your doorstep by the morning im sure someone would of taken your number plate I could have shouted maybe....but I was too busy trying to find the video camera on my samsung galaxy s, didn't make it in time though

decided to take my ferret and dog out for an hour tonight and on my way there I get stuck in traffic...as I slowly move forwards I see a silver peugeot 406 half way across the road, some bird had been pulling out of a junction and must have run out of petrol or something because the car was across the road, not blocking the traffic because it was a wide road, but still in the way.
