    ferrets/smoker Hollow trees / branches mate. not sure I'd fancy putting a ferret up against a squirrel, I bet they could do a bit of damage to a ferret couldn't they? or do they just bolt straight away? ferrets will bolt a squirrel no problem,as a young lad we used to put them up with the terriers our mate who i wont name as hes on her would climb the tree being the youngest of us all with a sac and a ferret enter the ferret in the hole put the sac over the entrance all hell would brake lose squirrel would bolt into the sac and wala..till he fell out of the tree one day

    well, within 12 mins i had a small eel on the bank and another at 5am (ISH).. inbetween that time i had some bream,perch and a small pike.. not the start of the season i had hoped for but its called fishing and not catching

    thanks for that advise neil, ive never fished for them. the lake is 3/4 football pitch size and an island in the middle. the ONLY other fish are crussian carp. what bait SHOULD i have the best chance??

    around here its real bad for ticks and fleas, the terriers get alive with them,i also get my fair share of ticks on me :sick: a couple of keeper friends had some too- 1 had a tick in his belly button and another had on under his forskin , and got his mother to remove it
