  1. Bloody hell . Most up here from what I can see are hooked up to a battery just bit bigger than a car ,. Not sure about some others in horse feilds
  2. Labs has a wee one.. Get him to send you one lol
  3. Neoprene Willie warmers on eBay mate !! Lol
  4. That's a shame mate. Guess I was lucky with mine. Some give more of a kick than others. I don't know if it's true, some crazy folk wire them up to the mains ??? Be sick if me dog took off and it never came back...
  5. Could not really tell on my phone... What happened ? Had a few dogs get strung up thankfully I was quickly to them... When I was a lad f**k knows how I managed it. I tried to get two terriers under a electric fence and managed to clip the couplings to the wire and shocked myself several times to get them off that was a nightmare lol my old lurcher hit a leccy fence fairly shocked her... Went out the beam heard a load of screaming was fine after ten mins or so and carried on lamping. Hate leccy fences is a fair few on my bits to no good for ferreting
  6. Welsh lads are keen hunters and travel far to get some good results.. If they want a closed circle for comp you can't blame them. There sport and there pot, good luck to them !
  7. If you have spent the cash to get it right, you might as well run it into the ground... You could be in similar position with new car, needing attention.. You paid over the odds considering what it needed.. Cars just eat money. If its running well and no other works needed I would keep it fella.. If you have to sell it, I would just bide your time... I have had cars for weeks before they sold and the ones that went fast were low priced..
  8. Still for sale... Pictures can be sent to mobiles.. Real smart , well built and maintained hutch...
  9. How they bred Torchy ??? like the look of them... 3rd Pic downs was my favourite
  10. Want to see how much they charge for delivery I wanted a few and a bail of bedding Could of drove there from Cumbria cheaper..
  11. Tell you what your in some shape for your age.. Put lads in there twenty's to shame.. Most fellas your age have no hair a big old gut My dad micros fish too I like to fry it in a pan or grill it .. He puts salmon fillet in a dish with a little water, lemon, a bay leaf ,salt and pepper, splash of white wine and a knob of butter.. Loves it !! Microwave stinks of fish for days lol Good snaps again mate
  12. Decent snaps fella.. Good to see the old fella still getting up there.. How did you cook the fish ?? Me dad loves trout
  13. I aint saying its right or wrong... But I know a few dogs that rarely see daylight... Summer yeah for evening walks but winter no... Its not my thing either but it dose go on and plenty folk do it.. I like a bit or all lurcher work and also think its not using a dog to it full potential... But in life its what folk do... Take these Sunday drivers for example Its a good job we don't have the same interests.. If these lads were as keen at ferretting as they were at lamping they would wipe spots out
  14. Time commitments and accesses to land... I know a couple of boys that only lamp... Through the week the work day shifts and at weekend spend time with there young family's.. Only time they have is when there loved ones are tucked up in bed.. I have heard lads do more freelancing at night but I personally would not know anything about that Some lads have no interest at all, in other disciplines of a working lurcher.. Each to there own
  15. They will find horse meat in it next
  16. http://www.countryhouseoutdoor.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=591&products_image_group=Bronze That similar but mine was better.. Its same shop I got mine its got £100 knocked off
  17. I got a Aigle Jacket about 9/10 years ago.. Was reduced from £200 odd to £120 .. Its still waterproof.. Its fairly light but warm.. In winter on right wet cold nights I just wear a vest under this coat.. Loads of pockets and pockets fold out and have them elastic that holds shells if thats your thing.. Big game pocket at back or mabie for ventaltion.. Can get 3 rabbits in there or a hare !! Its had a few rips but it came with a bit of material.. And I just glue it over the tares.. Best Coat I have evey had.. f***ing stinks tho but thats the smell of success lol
