  1. I cant even train one to nail one, bouncing off a fence
  2. Really Interesting.. Take your Camera when you go first light
  3. I have always said similar. Reality most lads are buzzing with 20 rabbits between 3 dogs and dont know what a real night out is. These lads however are happy to breed and pass dogs about stating " top dog catches bags full and will fill a freezer". I dont keep count never have and wont either. I have found a few receipts from game dealers in glove box that are impressive, diarys and photo albums dont do it for me each to their own... I dont disbelive many folks when they are talking about what the get in a night or day, Good luck to them its harder than ever to get good groun
  4. Send me a link first light.. Enjoy your footage fella
  5. How was the sire bred?? big dog anymore snaps of him??
  6. To be honest Giro i'd like to see her with a good bit more bulk to her, she's real long, gangly and ungainly looking,i'm sure she'll fill out in time though? My dog was skin and bone till it got worked, looked like a RSPCA job sometimes lol.. She will fill out I like a racy type of dog it should have a bit of pace about it and a long galloping stride.
  7. My pal a very similar looking dog bar colour, That was Collie(berdie) x greyhound ~ Deerhound x greyhound.. Looks smart dog.. To hot here to get a few runs and the grass and crops still aint down in most places.
  8. Were dose the Broken coat come from in Deans dog?? It looks bony dog.. Who caught the rabbits today??

How fast do they go fella??
  12. Only time I have held back dogs (by collar) if working multiple dogs and the rabbits are flying out thick and fast. No point in two dogs chasing one rabbit, givin others a free run.. Depending on whats going on, I have even let the rabbits get some distance, if they are breaking across a open feilds. But if its clearance use purse nets, longnets and the dogs are off the collar I admire keen ferreting lads its really hard work, moping up small numbers in thick cover. I am to lazy I would make no money ferreting if its not going right, I often like to down tools and look
  13. Out of intrest Sean, how come you never used Jack over Polly ??
  14. Had a smooth fox terrier family pet, went bushing and was not a bad wee rabbit ratcher.. Used to take it lamping with the air riffle. dont have any good photos of it on my computer. It was KC show stuff and we got it because it was not winning any rossets.
  15. Thats good money, I would do a days ferreting for nothing on good land lol
  16. Do you belive every dog that fails due physical or mental issuse is blameless and the owner would be at fault ??? I Think thats pish myself, whats your rational ~ theroy behind, "as in the people who refer to there dogs as jackers passing on your own bad management and inadequacies is just that joke!!! " If a dog is usless, you cant fluff that up anyother way. If its injured thats a different story or been push beyond reasonable limits, entered in correctly and over matched. Then I belive the handler would be at fault.
  17. Bet it was a few quid, its £50 to be put under... I am forever at the vets, they smile eveytime I walk in and then fleece me rotton
  18. Bank on my ground looks like a wedge of swiss cheese more holes than i care to count... Not a place for ferreting in my opinion to deep, sandy and labour intensive.. Better for the riffle
