    Could see benifits of flushing them. If you wanted to give them some law ?? My dogs have hit hares on the seat good if your hunting for food,if you out for a few chases its not so great.. Horses of courses

    Yeah agree Smart dog, my bitch and a pals dog caught 14 rabbits off a moor daytime only 3 actually got up and ran.. They just hit them on the seat.. As for blue hares I never ran one, shame really would of been an good experiance..

    I often wonder same thing as ive the perfect collie bitch here for lurcher breeding Her sire flint was out of j.diamonds ben x m.gilmartins meg her dam was a hill collie And she works although not to trialing standard find the right Saluki, I will have a pup :laugh: Might be a bit of wastage on first crosses would think they would make reasonable hunters,lampers and good around nets?

    when did you last hunt large numbers over a period of time in Cornwall giro? With a minshaw? Or was that just somthing you herd? I see a minshaw bitch run by a landy as a pup 3 night on the trot an was ready for a 4th at the time an this dog only started stalking when it was walked to rabbits which probly ment it was waiting for the land rover to come up beforeit ran them imo I just read and heard reports... Marks lilly cocked and barkers dogs where bottomed out after a few runs Never been fella,never seen dogs run along side a moter its a alien game to me.... Think Mark Br

    The moter may be an inital trigger setting off Tiredness but it will always be the actual running of rabbits that will finish them?? Some dogs just decided to watch rabbits running off into the distance after a a few runs?? Like I say its not first hand, but Marks gave good discriptions of his methods over the years and few have witnesssed him in action.. Hedgy more Than most??
