  1. depends on the weight of the pellet you are using and the distances you intend to hunt to. Going off Zini's Ballistic profile he done for me I have my BSA S10 zeroed to 25M and using 14.5gr Defiants gives me the following..... First zero point is 10 m Second zero point is 25 m 10 m, aim bang on 15 m you need to apply 1 MD hold under 20 m you need to apply 1/2 MD hold under 25 m aim bang on 30 m you need to apply 3/4 MD hold over 35 m you need to apply 1.5 MD hold over 40 m you need to apply 2.5 MD hold over 45m you need to apply 3.5 MD hold over

  7. give it a strip down, degrease, clean and regrease mate you might find it will be quieter after that. If all else fails then invest in a silencer. As for the comment about there being 2 quarry and one running away, Don't take it for gospel but I find you'd normally get that with a springer anyway due to the movement of recocking the action frightening the second away, especially after it's mate has just copped it!
