Mike, I'm not normally one to talk out of term on a public forum but you seriously need to wind your neck in mate. It's not fair that every new member you "suspect" is being tarred with the same brush. As for stripping an ... If you find it difficult to strip then I think you aren't competent in taking a rifle apart at all Wether or not I'm speaking out of term I don't give a shit but since you got here and started posting your crap this forum has gone seriously downhill which has forces a lot of regular members to refrain from posting So seriously in all manner of speaking.....

Oh no they don't, nobody knows what they use. Since the police have shut their forensics laboratories the people who do the testing could use a 2 yard bit of kicker elastic and a well read copy of Playboy for all you know! There are no defined procedures, no defined or approved test equipment and no approved or defined test pellets. There have been many threads on this problem. I use a Combro as it provides repeatable results due to the nature of the beast (ie sitting virtually on top of the muzzle). OH YES THEY DO...... I have proof in B&W!! most chronos that I know of apart from the combro need a "relief" gap from the muzzle as this stops it measuring the muzzle blast but measures the projectile instead Darryl
