    They are good for a few hundred yards using a N1000, the on board ir laser good out to 50-60 yards i would say, but like all nv depends on the conditions. Not the best spotters but then again they don't cost £2300 with nv you get what you pay for.

    Get down to the NV meet in November bud you can then look thru many different bits of nv kit, you may be better off going down the add-on route Pulsar challenger gs and N1000 laser this would do. Using a side px scope helps big time

    night vision meeting Saturday 26 of November. 5pm held at Aston park fisheries i run these night vision meeting every year everybody's welcome. even if you dont own any night vision come and look thrue uther peoples units it with give you a very good idea [bANNED TEXT] you wont to buy if your thinking of getting your self some night vision. its better than buying something then finding out its not for you and you have wasted your money. cafe on sight and will be open there will be all types of units from gen 1 to gen3 digital camcorder addons you name it it will probably be there

    Nightman i don't have it anymore i use a Envis and 3x lens with a N2000, but you may see 300 yards with N1000 on a good night short grass and on a bad night as with all nv gear distance drops very quick. As for the little black n white picture you see never really did it for me. I have used both the pro and the standard for the money diff IF i was getting another it would be the standard with N1000
