  1. What scope do you use it with .Is it difficult to set up.Will you have to re-adjust your eye relief. Thanks for any help. Sent you a pm with regards to setting up you just attach the dsa on the back of your scope focus the lens and away you go in a round abouts way. Scope AGS 3x12x44 i sit my scope forward as most of my shooting is done at night so makes sense.
  2. Ye your scope will work it just makes life better with side px
  3. The pulsar gs 1x20 will do the job fine, and it won't tie your rifle up for night use only, like with all gen1 stuff get a good ir laser like the n1000ap and if you ever go up to fac you already got your nv sorted.
  4. Would say about £2000-2500 depending on what tube is in it
  5. If you can get to sheff there is a NV meet 5th feb there will be some gear from gen1 upto some very good gen3 stuff best to try [bANNED TEXT] you buy in this game thats a defo
  6. What one would you recomend and what advantages would it have over a pulsar. Thanks for any advice. Better clarity, resolution, increase of range.. These are not bad, yes more money, but much better.. http://www.nvscopes.com/night%20vision%20scope%20Gen2%20SM3S2%20HTH%20731.html Are these still having problems with the lens unscrewing?? Loss of zero
  7. You could always go the add-on route and save some money by getting the new pulsar gs 1x20 with DSA for £300, then £120 for a N1000 laser will shoot out to 150 yards no problem just put one on my hmr does the job
  8. Have a look here as for recomend if you want dedicated then D760 gen3 D440 gen2+ there plenty to choose from cost £1500-£3500 http://www.rapid7ownersclub.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=16311

  15. Ye i know what you mean i went down the add-on route then went dedicated and add-on P.s you can get a good add-on with dsa for £300 now that ain't bad and out to hmr ranges
  16. Get saving those pennys a costly do this nv jobby
  17. Ye it get advertised as both 1x24 and 2x24 depending where you buy it from
  18. Price is £200 like ad says for both i take it
  19. [bANNED TEXT] i sold my newton i am sure i tried the 1x24 lens and it fits the yukon dsa also fits but at a £100 like you say better make your own.
  20. what you mean by a dsa, you on about making an adapter to fit the lidl scope or a differant nv altogether mate? cheers, Liam.. Day Scope Adaptor (DSA) yes to fit the lidl mono to your day scope, you need the 1x24 lens to focus on your crosshair, 5x won't do it. Laser will give you more range but if it's for air then a led ir will do.
  21. All down to what you want add-on or dedicated and how much you want to spend, add-ons from £100 to £2500 dedicated £200 to £3500+, whats your budget?
  22. As Pav says get a 1x24 lens off the bay make a dsa stick a laser on it and away ya go good out to hmr range. Work very well with ags scopes
  23. Just buy a cheap AGS scope i use 3x12x44 mini swat but these are like hens teeth on my rimmys and air, and if you ever go nv you have the best scope going
