I always run my bitch beside me on my bike 3-4 miles 2/3 times a week for a couple of months before the season starts and always think she looks in good condition on our first night out of the season but come Christmas after many many slips she is a total different animal, don't think that lamping a truly unfit over weight dog fit would work but a fit fit dog cab totally change after a few hundred slips Good hunting Rex

My bitch is always between 22-23Kilos. I pop into the vets and get her to jump on the scales. Agree it is critical to know the weight for medication etc.

Since the ground has been softened by the old faithful British summer and the crops have been cut going to start a couple of weeks earlier than normal and pop out with the lamp and my saluki/whippet x grey for a couple of hours later. Hopefully the start of a great season
