A mate of mine asked if i would go and shoot a few rabbits from a guys house. He said no dogs which was a bit of a bummer as my young dog could do with the experience.Anyway went there tonight to have a look and f**k me it is like Watership down there must of been two hundred rabbit on about half a acre of grass.We had a quick walk round and all the rabbits buggered off.From what i can see shooting them is going to be the best way of making a dent in them. Had a hour or so shooting and had one or two . Made an enjoyable evening and got the ferrets a bit of meat. Going to make a bit of a hid

Yes he is a first cross. Dare i say it out of Hancocks yard I do a lot of mooching about with him got a great nose and will go were you tell him most of the time.I enjoy watching him hunt up,quarters a field well.He is 8 year old and will only run things he thinks he got a chance on now. There was a mouse in the back yard that i was watching and let the dogs out about half hour after it had gone and was surprised to see how well he follow the sent were the mouse had been.He is no world beater but has been worth his keep.

Two of them got Picardy in themthought so I got two Picardy x pups for my mate the other month nearly had one my self really nice strong pups mom and dad meant to do the bizzThe dog in the last photo was a cracking dog was shaping up to be a class act but had to have him pts at just over 4 year old.He was picardy beardie grey but throug more to the picardyyeah that's similar breeding to these pups I had them here for abit as the lad was sorting out his place can't Waite to see how they turn out If they turn out like that one of mine you will be whishing you had one. Hope they serve him well.le

Took the dogs for a spin out not long ago as it is raining it would keep the sunny day dog walker at bay and would keep me dogs cool. So I get there and don't see another soul about. Anyway as soon as we get out the motor me and the dogs are covered with swarms of fecking fly's hope no one filmed me was walking about like I was having a fit. This year the insects seem to have come out in force can not remember them as bad as this year be glad when the cold comes and thins the evil shites out

My old dog aint that keen on veg but when the blackberry are about he picks them of the bush and seems to enjoy them no end and eats grass like a cow lol

My lurcher has got a fair bit of Bovier in him and he starting to guard and protect me and the yard. He is great with kids and folk he knows but can be a bit intimidating with strangers.Made my walks a bit less traumatic as a lot of other dog owners soon put there dogs on the lead when he is with us lol. I could imagine a full Bovier des flanders would be a more than capable gaurd dog

I have had a few Beardie crosses over the years found them easy to get along with Like the way they go about things and has been said tough as old boots. I would choose a good Beardie over a good Boarder any day. Not that I don't like border I do but push come to shove I would pick the Beardie

Well my young strange bred dog is coming on well now. He has tested my patience a little bit to say the leased but things are starting to fall into place. For such a big dog he is pretty nimble and lot quicker than i thought he would be.Anyway enough of my kennel blind ramblings just thought i would put a few photos of him up lol

Hope she comes good for you fella. Lost one of mine to poisoning picked something up out of the yard tests said it was heavy metal poisoning he had fits as well.
