  1. Ah no it's fine, can hardly see it like (kidding, it's a lovely pic).
  2. So what happened him anyway, did he just leave?
  3. No idea who you are, so this isn't directed at you. its directed at Simoman There are plenty of mods on plenty of sites worse than most trolls. FFS John you'll get yourself banned.....
  4. Yeah, I'm back to the tunnel again I was thinking of the over the garden gate type: http://www.overthegardengate.net/userpages/pp_view.asp?FName=polytunnel&Page=1 And maybe it's big enough as it is  The thought I had was if a person could get a T connection for the pipe. At the highest part of the loop, cut the pipe and put on the T. Put a short piece of pipe coming down out of the T towards the ground. I imagine there's some type of "cement" that can be got to properly stick the joint. The idea being, could a larger wider loop be supported by having scaffold pol

  7. Dug up two tops, pleased with the size of one variety, the other is a bit small and mismatched yet, so I'll leave them longer. What's the deal with the darker spuds, are they the original seed spuds or what? I was told they were supposed to melt away and not be in the ground come harvest but I don't know that may not be right.
  8. On the pitch or off it..? Take your pick Malt
  9. Russia vs Poland should be a nice quiet affair today...
  10. Ah, that's harsh. Think of the players we had at Italia 90. Even in 2002 we had a good chance of doing real well had that primadonna twat Keane not spat the dummy and fooked off home to walk his dog. The current squad, no, not so good, but maybe there'll be a good squad again in the future. We're not exactly a bright shining beacon in the footballing world.
  11. The small one was about the size of a hens egg, boiled and devoured
  12. Vive la France Just someone break Henrys leg if the cheating fuckwit is playing
  13. Spain will stuff us if we play like that again. 11 blindfolds needed for the execution
  14. Stone wall penalty though, that croat came straight through the back of him. Sure was, pity the ref didn't see it that way.
  15. Yes, that was shite. Oh well, only Spain and Italy to play yet
  16. Other stadia of various sporting allegiences are listed in the link below: http://en.wikipedia....iums_in_Ireland If Wiki is correct, we have over 20 stadia with capacity over 20,000, but that's standing. Over 20k seated are: Croagh park (Dublin - GAA) 76,500 Aviva Staduim (Dublin - IRFU/FAI) 51,700 McHale Park (Castlebar - GAA) 42,000 Semple Stadium (Thurles - GAA) 36,000 Gaelic Grounds (Limerick - GAA) 35,000 Two close "also rans" are: Páirc Uí Chaoimh (Cork - GAA) 19,500 Nowlan Park (Kilkenny - GAA) 19,000 ---------------------------- In other news, m
  17. We've two good stadiums anyway, Croagh Park (if the GAA would see their way to allowing it) and the Aviva stadium. Other stadia I am not so sure whether they'd meet requirements or not.
  18. As long as it's not disease I'm happy enough They really did get the shit kicked out of them with the wind a few days back.
  19. They get a bit of tomato feed once a week, though I ran out this week so they've had none for 9 days now, no other fert used, I have a bed of matured sheep manure under where I planted the seed spuds but no other ferts.
  20. I'm a bit concerned about what's in the photographs below, especially the discolouration on the stalks. I don't know if this is normal or not, or perhaps an after effect of the high winds they suffered (the stalks literally moved in the ground, plenty of branches broken), or disease?
  21. I don't fancy yours much Bob
  22. Spot on mate, Red billed Chough! First ones I've ever seen, and I've been looking out or them ever since a pair of bobble hatted twitchers asked me if I'd spotted any when I passed them on the coast path when I was in my early teens! Just wish I'd had a camera with a decent zoom.. Nice pics Mal. Have Choughs on my farm from time to time, they're mostly on the beach across the way though. Did you borrow Paulus' camera? And beach pics and not a bikini in sight, disappointed Mal, dis-a-pointed
  23. Best Anthem is our own, followed by the French, the rest of the field is well behind, but as mentioned the Russian anthem is alright too, just needs a few Spetznaz troops abseiling from the roof of the stadium and tossing the odd grenade around. Irelands call is the worst thing ever... Sorry, but it is.
  24. I wouldn't dirty my bullets. An eye for an eye for this case.
  25. I'm just pissing around this year to be honest PP. I've not done any of the above with crop rotation in mind. For next year I'll have a more well defined plan in place for locations, specific veg and future rotation. I've been away a couple of days and came back this morning to my spuds looking quite sad after getting a hammering from the wind. Ordered 2 meter high windbreak mesh online this afternoon, will need to get poles etc set up. Sh1t happens, especially when I close the door after the horse has bolted! Yep, that's my sheep farm
