    Am not 100% sure if They were running ther dogs on permission or not but a lot of us are

    maybe the farmer/landowner would then pay a rifle man to step in and finish the rest of the work after the lads with dogs have give him his word as removing the pests of his/her land

No what I was trying to say in a nice way on the earlier post was if u were running single all the time you would be lucky to have a quarter of the number of fox them lads were putting away,as I said before some are happy knocking the odd fox or two over a week,and as for starting pups we’ve all got are own ways of starting them off

    Yes you’re right,and same goes for fox reducing the numbers when they become a nightmare for farmers/landowners

    I wish I could have dogs that didn’t need doubling up from pups to show the ropes,I must be the unlucky one,but suppose it’s all down to how much your out putting the miles and work in front of the dogs,some happy to be out once or twice a week where others are happy to be out four or five nights a week

    No,but there’s lads out there running 2/3 dogs while ferreting on bolting rabbits

    Some people like to take fox in there numbers me being one of them,I havnt seen any dog out there catching that many fox single handed in one night as them lads were putting away regular,so if you’re getting the numbers like them lads were with one dog I’d say you’ve got a master piece ??

    Bet half on here would of liked to of ran there dogs with them lads the amount of foxes they were putting away,I say fair play to them putting the miles in and getting good results ??
