So you feel the likes of Rooney/Ali/Vardy etc etc are simply not very good footballers....is that what your saying ?........you think as individual players the Iceland lads are better than the English ?......if thats the case why do you think it is that the top clubs in English/Spanish/Italian football havent snapped these Icelandic guys up ? Do you think managers like Mourinho/Ferguson/Wenger just dont really know what they are doing by picking English players instead of Icelandic players to play in their teams ? Thiery Henry played at around 13.5 to 14 stone, he was a unit on the pitch......big, powerful and strong.......that is exactly how a player should be. Dunga, Dechamps, Scholes......not massive tall lads but strong and solid That Sterling must be about 9 stone wet through.......he isn't up to it IMHO

Max, FAs around the world are made up totally of yes men.....it's the nature of the beast. FAs don't make or break teams, players and managers do that all on their own.

I can't think of a finer person than a Jamaican barrister to run a national football team ! Question, who thinks there would be mileage in selecting players from lower devisions ?.........personally I could really get behind a group of lads who had maybe missed the big time and gone through the ranks......I think them lads would relish a chance to shine. I always say, I can only love a dog that makes you love it......I can't live a dog just because it's my dog.

So by and large it was pretty much like every other tournament then pal ?......haha Jokes aside, the paddys were queuing up to give it me large last night when I got to football !.......my main enjoyment has been watching how well the West Ham players have been doing. I have been proud as punch to see how good they are and think that they play for our little club. Anyway, a few of my pals were in Nice and the weather looked tidy so at least you get that as comfort

I said before the referendum that it would be a good 10 or 15 years before the true positive effect starts to come through, where the voter is respected and not seen just as a cash generator. There is 30+ years of very serious damage done to the national character, to true democracy, of not having your collective arse wiped every 5 minutes......all this damage won't take 12 months to repair. It's bad and the intervening period will be used to rob everyone blind. The referendum was a very, very small but crucial step towards putting things right IMHO

I think pretty much the opposite actually lads, I think as individuals they are actually as good as they think they are.....in fact they can be better. However, they need to shown and maybe lower league players need to be encouraged through the selection process that "hype" is not enough.......you need something more, then IMHO the beliefe will start to come.......and once you have beliefe and a war like mentality then you will see things happen........you will see fans get behind you win or loose, you will see people wanting to be part of the set up. You may not be getting any 4-0 against G

I couldn't fault Vardy at all, in fact we could have done with a lot more of his attitude. You can see that lad has come from "f**k all" football, he showed lads who have been in youth systems at big clubs all their life how you approach a game and the right attitude to have.

Watched Iniesta today and then watched Rooney mate (as you know I AM a Rooney fan) but you see his passing starting to break down tonight and that was with plenty of time and space. Even though on the loosing side Iniesta gave a master class today of how to play like that. I have to admit I lives the end when the Iceland captain and the team stood in front of the fans and started that war like chant......you just can't put that in on a training pitch. I'd personally like to see a lot more independents but it takes people to vote for them..........but if we did have another political party then something a bit more libertarian. That's what I would like for England anyway.... It don't matter to me here, none of it reache you in the middle of nowhere ! Lol

I'm frankly flabbergasted by almost every reporter, remain fan and pro EU politician to grasp the fact that it is absolutely possible for a sovereign nation state to function on its own and in the interest solely of the people that inhabit it.........mental !
