For me it'd have to be pretty bad,but I'm not materialistic,I'd happily live in a caravan if that's all I could afford. If my town turned into Bradford overnight I don't think I'd subject my family to that,but if I was single I'd stay. I think I'd always have a desire to move back eventually if I was forced to move on. I think we,ve had a similar conversation before Wilf so i dont want to antagonize you but would you say you are ashamed of being English ? None of this "wealth" actually exists.....they just printed a shit load of money in the last recession and called it solved! Every f****r is living off their kids and grand kids....... The only good bit is, they can't drop the charade so for the time being you will get taxed to f**k to pay for your "wealth" and your kids will get it twice as bad.

I suppose then mate it comes down to what you value, there's a good chance that as life progresses the things you value change......do what feels right at the time. The only bit of advice I can offer is something an old boy told me years ago.........be happy, if you are not happy don't do it no matter what the cost

Markets expand and contract, there's always opportunity on any given scenario so personally.....I don't pay much attention to it. I have lived through 3 or 4 now, I still alive and kicking as are we all.......you can't worry about things you have no control over, you just have to think how you can exploit the situation.

Don't get me wrong boys, I love the landscape of the UK and the people are top class, it's getting f****d in the arse at every turn by the system I couldn't deal with and didn't feel I had the right to condem my kids too either.......I find it truly disgusting. The land is lovely but for me it's no way to live. But that is just me.

Pal of my mine who is in his 70s retired to Spain a few years back, had his million quid villa and his boat and you think "great stuff"......within 2 years he was back and working again. I thought he was f***ing mental at the time but he told me he just got bored and I sort of understand that now.......you can't change who you are, I think the best you can do is get the happy medium or make sure you set things up to suit your character.

I f****d off 2 years ago and my only regret is that I didn't do it years ago.........the only thing I miss is a bit of banter with other lads out of my area and the to and fro of having a deal with someone. Lately I have been thinking about a house in Sicily, no particular reason other than I used to sell a bit of kit to a group of Sicilian lads and they were nice chaps. The guvenor of them always used to say to me "you have got to come over, you will love it" Never been there but I'm going over this year for a look at a few places.
