Fair enough mate, I know loads of people who do that but personally I don’t see the point….may as well have no alcohol as have one, that’s just my opinion of course. But I suppose having been a non drinker for so long I don’t understand “having to have a beer” My mother in law does it, she will be “oh I can just have one G&T or glass of wine” ?…..why would you even bother is my way of looking at it.

No, as in got in a motor knowingly a bit wonky, never ! Now, like everyone I’ve been on weekend benders, finished up Sunday evening and got in a motor 6am Monday morning so I suppose technically it’s still in your system and that counts. But I packed up drinking altogether at 24 and that was totally because I had a home, a business, a mrs and had to be right every single day from very early to very late…..that and drink don’t make good bed fellows and if you add loosing your license that would have been a disaster. It’s been a strange one seeing two different cultures attitude to drink driving. Id be very anti drink driving like the majority of people I ever knew in the U.K. Here in my part of rural Ireland it’s regarded as no big deal, like it’s normal ! When I spout my anti drink driving opinion they just give you a strange look and say “How else can we get to and from the pub ?” Like I’m talking utter madness ! It really is f***ing howling but regarded as nothing here !

No, I’m afraid not, it’s way more serious than that and massively does Blair a disservice……yes post 1948 they were a bunch of shit c**ts looking to sell us down the river, but what Blair has done is immense and unique and couldn’t even have been contemplated by anyone else. To try and give it some context, what we face as British people in Britain is the equivalent of us having to invade France, get rid of all the French people and turn it into 1950s/1960s Britain…..it’s as massive as that. We are essentially living in our own foreign occupied country !

There actual, factual reasons for that…..I can’t remember them all but it’s completely deliberate. I watched David Starkey explain why the other day, he went all the way from 1290 and all the reasons we were so good as a country right upto Blair, basically Blair completely and deliberately took a hammer to the whole lot…..as in, when you hear it you wonder “What the f**k ?…..how did none of us see something so massive and so serious ?” Well, we did, but only theough a keyhole…..in tiny little snippets ! Now, I’m stealing this opinion but I heard it from an academic and it makes sense to me…..we are IN a civil war ! Right now, at this moment ! Because it’s not at the bombs and bullets stage yet makes it no less a civil war…..we are meeting all the criteria that always ends up at the bombs and bullets stage. Good post that mate, I think it’s once again another stupid idea where they have massively misread the room…..it’s not old fuckers like me sat in my house of an evening who is at the sharp edge (literally !) of this national f***ing disaster, it’s young people having to deal with with all this and I think they will vote in surprising ways.
