I’ll add a little personal experience to this.... I have quiet a lot of lifelong very good female friends, some I have known since school. Ill take the case of two of them.......both of them extremely good looking girls, bright, intelligent. Came from nice “normal” 2.4 families......nothing unusual at all. Both of them ended up with violent, controlling morons! One of the dudes was overt with it and the other was the type who kept it quiet and presented the “Mr Nice Guy” image to the world....... One you couldn’t miss but still with the other the clues were there. -
Mate, there are all types of cruel, twisted c**ts in the world and the honest truth is you can’t legislate for it......with the best intentions in the world trying to legislate for that which can’t be measured is always going to be very dangerous and imho, just plain wrong ! Its a sad fact of life that victims tend to gravitate towards abusers......what you gonna do ? One solution is as pointed out above, better education in school but if the kid then go’s Home and sees it going on at home what do you do?.......how do you legislate that? I hope this don’t get taken the wrong way because it’s just my way of speaking, but here go’s : Do you really believe that women and men need a law to save them in case they are so blind as to marry an immature, childish, small minded, cruel little prick? I look at these things in telly sometimes where a woman has a very jealous boyfriend or such like.......you can see it before they open their mouth and you think “ If you shacked up with this moron then you have to be a bit slow yourself?” I mean, a bloke who has jealousy or controlling issues would normally display some signs

See, there’s the banana skin.....we can all look at personal situations and think “ohh, there should be a law about that to protect me” but actually, no there f***ing shouldn’t. A law that totally open to the interpretation of the person applying it is bad law, and new laws made when there are already laws that cover the criminal actions of people are also bad laws. So a law that saves “just one person” is not necessarily a good law because it could well be abused in 200 other cases.

But hey, even a complete idiot knows that once you start imposing legal sanction on people based on how they make another person feel then the gates are wide f***ing open for any type of shit law...... Mate, how often do folk sit there and say to themselves “what is the f***ing logic in doing that” when politicians are up to something or making a policy.......these people ain’t stupid, far from it, they have some of the greatest minds advising them so we can only then assume it’s all on purpose ! Well in short, I dont believe for one second that there was any type of chemical attack......as far as I’m concerned, it’s bullshit. European politicians are doing so much that has not logic or sense to it that there is absolutely no credible case to think they are doing different with Syria. Difference is, someone who wants to look for the speech has to go and find it on YouTube.......but a broadcast that has attracted quiet a lot of media attention will reach a lot more people. Obviously, they will pull it apart and many will fall for it because with live in a nation of headline readers/listeners and not thinkers.....but there are still enough people in the country who tune out the white noise and think Thats why it’s a good thing.
