There’s a lot of fans dreaming of being an oil sheiks play thing, it’s no way to build a football club imho.....not my cup of tea. Short was a billionaire owner who pumped in vast sums of money and you are still st the place you are at, so what’s the problem? You don’t get to be a billionaire by making bad choices about your management team imho........so something else is wrong at that club. That ground is a millstone around your clubs neck at the minute mate, that will be costing a fortune to run and you just could do without it at the minute I’m guessing.

Wasn’t trying to insult you big lad, it’s just how it came across in the documentry. You have no doubt been the victim of bad management and bad decisions given all the money that Short pumped into the club........but that didn’t detract from what I said, and as I say, I do understand it was an edited TV programme mate. The best lad was the old taxi driver bloke, yes he had a moan but he was quiet cool and down to earth at his football. Errrr......have you looked out the window lately? Last I heard they were trying to lock up shite jock comedians for making silly jokes and battering lads doors down for saying nasty names at football. They have reduced the army to under 100,000 which is technically a militia. War after war after war in the last 30 years Folks persecuted daily for everything from a parking ticket to a late council tax payment. Shall I go on?

Just finished watching the Sunderland thing Max, and with absolutely no wind up at all here is my honest opinion. Now, I understand I watched a tv programme and they can edit that any way they want but just based on watching I can tell you that clubs problem right away........it’s the fans! They are an absolute embarrassment, they are completely deluded for starters. All I kept hearing was “massive club, massive club”.......that football club should start with making the fans get real about their football. In all honesty mate, I love any behind the scenes stuff about football.....more so as I have got more into my coaching. I just love the mental side of things, I find that really interesting and to watch how pro clubs go to work is always time well spent as a coach.

What you do have is the ability to say ugly things mate. If someone is really that angry they can join the Klan or the NSM or any other myriad group and march, protest, hand out flyers, go off to the woods and shoot at pumpkins.......they are free to go off and makes pricks of themselves in any way they see fit. imho, that is a much needed safety valve for those who really feel that strongly about it.......much better they can do that than sit festering in the room feeling betrayed by everyone, undetected until they do something terrible. We just don’t have the ability or outlet

Of course you will see sectarian lines drawn because the genetic fact is that all groups of creatures belong with their own. We are trying to fight nature with this shite, we are hoping the brain overpowers the blood. We are trying to create something that is not natural to any other group of animals. Theres million of different types of birds, they are all birds but you don’t see sparrows flying about with eagles.......it’s natural thing to favour your own.
