Hence lads searching out the biggest meanest things to see what they have in the kennel mate ?

My pal went to Finland some years back hunting Raccoon Dogs, the Fin lads had a fox terrier (amongst other things) and my pal said it was an outstanding dog.......when was the last time you saw an outstanding working fox terrier in the UK ? That’s what happens to breeds left to “rot”

Jmho, and as we have been harping on about in the other thread, blood matters and you don’t get decent blood unless lads throw stuff at dogs. Its alright have your nice sensible, steady old thing but keep breeding that to other nice sensible, steady old things and pretty soon there’s f**k all dog left imho......now some folks may not like what other lads do or even their methods but you need them because without them there wouldn’t be a dog left in the world worth feeding. We would all be down the pet shop buying them dog Elvis outfits and parading them round the park ! Lon

TB reactors wipe out people’s lives.....if it was legal to leather those dirty b*****ds then I’d leather them and not think twice about it and I’d take more satisfaction doing that with a decent dog than a .243 A dog that can do that quickly and humanely is like hens teeth (I imagine) but you can buy a .243 off the shelf !

I don’t know what a “dogman” is either mate. I have certainly never been one, some lads are conditioners and some lads just want to chuck something out of a wagon or point it and it leathers things, some want to spend time and really love the dog.....all different people wanting and doing different things. What they bring is a smile to your face mate. Dogs imho are much of a muchness, seen one semi decent dog seen them all type thing......but when you see that special thing that makes you “whoa!” .........that’s watching an apex predator at the top of its game. I supp

I tend to agree there could be a connection, a trait of meekness will show up somewhere I reckon. I don’t know, I’m not saying a dog has to be attacking other dogs but they just tend to have a way of carrying themselves, sort of a quiet self confidence maybe? The big lad of mine would push himself into a corner away from other dogs and that definitely showed up in the field......it just needed the right trigger to bring out that failing.

Yes mate, exactly......I think he amazing and it’s a bit hypocritical to read and listen to Trumps critics. They have literally created the fertile soil for Trump to get elected......if they had just reigned in their right on, everything’s OK, everyone go’s to uni, a mans a woman and a woman’s a man, black history, self hating madness then Trump would never have got elected. But they didn’t, they took the piss and so Donny is in the White house and f**k me it’s fun to watch them squeal ! Lol

I can’t answer that mate because I never saw the dog take any stick but I can hundred percent say that dog had no fear in it. It just destroyed stuff mate, its quarry looked like it had been run over by a combine ! Lol On deer it was different, controlled and calculated, just caught them and killed them cleanly. I understand what you are saying but thinking about that I don’t think it works like that, the dog who don’t want to get involved tends to stand back and yap and growl and make all the right noises and maybe have a nip but it don’t just steam in and will be easily called away

I can genuinely say that it never gave anything a chance to brawl mate, it hit stuff like a juggernaut and that was the end of the story. It was a shame that mating never worked out, I think that was the first bitch the lad found who was worth a mating.....as far as I know he never tried any others because nothing came upto scratch. The dog retired and was last seen in front of an Aga in the kitchen of some retired doctors.....a great end for a great dog imho.

It never threw anything mate, it was tried a couple of times to a very good bitch but nothing came of it. Shame because the dog was a gun in canine form.
