Out of likes mate, there’s going to be a lot of kit floating about that’s for sure. Trouble is there are going to be a lot of people buying jobs and doing the normal race to the bottom shit too meaning anything that is about won’t be achieving the value it could or should. I don’t trust any of them at all mate, I have said for years career politicians are not the “best in class” at Oxford or Cambridge or Harvard or Yale......they are like the 3rd best Or 2nd if we are lucky. They are polytechnic grads and such like, maybe you get the odd barrister done good or property developer as president. What they are not is the finest minds in the world and yet we have all looked to them for guidance, we have danced to their tune socially and economically....... While I like to think of myself as pretty libertarian and would broadly support the aims and ideals of the Koch foundation who funded that declaration, there’s always alarm bells when something with big business behind it is telling people to do something. You can’t just roll back the state in one area, namely just to get consumers back on the street.......you have to roll it back all over the show. Firms are starting to see that why should they be paying £60 a square foot plus rates for office space when everyone can work from home and they just bung them an extra £30 a month in their wages. Dont have to buy them a desk or chair or a cupboard, don’t have to put up screens, don’t have to insure them......I know of one big law firm and they sent home their office of 3000+ people at the start of lockdown and nobody is going to come back this year, they are clearing the buildings. I think a lot of people have been fiddling while Rome burned mate and with this second wave coming folks are starting to see this is for the long haul. My old industry is decimated, designers and manufacturers closing London showrooms, all the reps crying their eyes out, firms are shedding all excess expenses lively.....it’s f****d like. Commercial space ain’t going to be worth f**k for a while, maybe a long while so all the D&B boys will be quiet as the grave. This is going to get dark mate.

I was working in Munich and driving round the city I came across an old cinema that still had a massive 3rd Reich Eagle carved Into each of the two columns that made up the facade of the building......that connects you directly with history imho, I love stuff like that

Art ?.......I don’t know but I liked them and it made me think about what history these things had witnessed so I took the photos....

One thing I will say, art isn’t just painting ? I wouldn’t be a massive fan of paintings but design, buildings, places I think can be considered art if they invoke a certain emotion......they are the things I like.

Who remembers years ago when the The Sun gave a monkey some paint and paper, they framed his daubs and set them up in a little gallery and then got a load of these poncy art critic types down there to review this fake “exciting new artist” lol They were coming out with all sorts of pretentious old bollocks.......then they told them it was a monkey ? lol I genuinely live for stuff like that !
