Well, don’t get too despondent mate, there’s always Friday to look forward too when Iworkwhippets updates us with whatever terminal disease him or his acquaintances have contracted this week or whatever howling medical procedure they are about to undergo ! I find it always gets my weekend off to a flying start !

I’ve never said any different, in fact I’m a firm believer in that they don’t have to be different. Its Gnasher has said time and time again that we can’t have those things because we moved to a good facility…..and I don’t agree with him, at all. In fact he has said clearly that we have to throw those things away to stay in the top flight, and again I don’t agree. See with football clubs there are fans tradition and clubs ambition, those things sometimes have room for each other but sometimes they don’t. Now, I’d happily as a fan watch at any level but I understand no club

The sad part is, that’s exactly what the vast majority of those who bother to turn out will do !……we are going to have a whole year of folks discussing which of the two failed party's, who are exactly the same animal, is better !! Breaks me !

As I said chief, this won’t be a conversation for much longer…..not if anyone at that club has any sense. Here, tell that long haired bloke who makes your local clubs YouTube Chanel to get another game up, they play great stuff and I really enjoy watching your games.

Watched some documentary’s last night, one of them was about Ebbw Vale. Another was about Cleveland……apparently the knife crime capital of England ? I had a wry smile as some paki phone shop owner was complaining that the area is going down the toilet…..it was like Cancer complaining it’s host body is dying ! All big industrial areas back in the day, then we ripped the heart out of those places and left the indigenous with nothing !…….just imported the 3rd world and let them fill in the gaps ! Terrible !

@Blackmag If you like that programme I’m just watching a blinding documentary. Its called “Rocky & Wrighty: From Brockley to the big time” Really worth a watch.

Good programme that isn’t it. When I was kid we used to go down one of the estates in Charlton and play in these things that were like a half sunken swimming pool with bricked up walls, smack bang in the middle of the flats.

Yeah, I watched it mate…..he has won one thing in 31 years and now he is “the special one” lol …… To be fair, our keeper looks like he has been our best player, that could easily have been 4 or 5 yesterday except for him pulling off some absolute worldies !

I’m not pointing a finger at him for a Moyes team getting done mate, I know that type of football is going to get done more often than not. But I always say it, top teams don’t offload players who who they think could be of some use….if a player of 26 ?, can’t keep his weight in check to stand a chance of getting into one of the top sides in the world (and bare in mind he is training every day) then what’s that say about his mind set ?……..elite sport requires elite mindsets. He is a decent player, he is Leeds and West Ham decent but not City, Liverpool or Arsenal decent
