    Its not so much the KC reg thing that bothers me Harv (though being kc registered is usually the beginning of the end for a working breed). These show type fake Bedlingtons have been bred selectively to lose their terrier like characteristics - the very characteristics that make them able to work in the first place. These show breeders revel in the history and romantacism of the Bedlington, and the love to tell buyers of their (expensive) imposters, the usual shit like "the looks of the lamb and the heart of a lion", and the gullable fools part with 600 - 700 quid on the strength of it.

    OK lads I obviously have my own opinions on the subject of show bred "psuedo" Bedlingtons being able to do the job of a true working terrier - I know that there are exceptions to every rule, but overall, for me , the people who call some of these open coated show dogs "workers" really haven't got a clue. What do the rest of you guys on this "working Bedlington" forum think. Just as a case in point, I have put a link to www.bedlingtonpictures.co.uk up, They have a picture of a pup, bred from Bisbee lines (this years Crufts best of breed) and they have labeled it -and I quote - "A T

    This gun crime is getting out of hand. Just saw on the local news that a Manchester woman was shot in the street this morning, apparently the bullet went clean through the womans left breast and out the other side. Then, this afternoon, another woman (not quite so lucky this time) got shot, the bullet ended up in the victims vagina. A spokesman for Greater Manchester police said tonight that it was a tit for twat shooting......
