  3. Never miss it...always great craic to be had..ATB Andy
  4. I've always been of the opinion Jai that he will throw a better pup than himself? After all he is over 1/2 Collie with the remainder lurcher,in theory you would think almost ANY lurcher put back to him would have more to offer than he? I know that won't be the case EVERYTIME but it's just common sense isn't it? I hoped that he could serve a purpose in the field and IMO he does that,I always stated that he would make a useful baseline for breeding lurchers, pure sighthounds,1/2 x's or 3/4 breds or just lurcher x lurchers he may just throw better than average when it comes to a lamping, mooching,f
  5. Excellent pics those Millet! I didn't even know you had Lil jumping yet? ATB Andy
  6. These are the ones around our way Ideation out of Don x Polly.. Chief Reggie with Chief Jasper

  8. This 1st bitch is the one my mate who "hired" the Collie over in Ireland and brought to England to be covered by Jack and kept himself, she is doing exceptionally well over there, far more racier than Don of that there is no question? same bitch as a pup This is Don's brother as a pup,he is in Ireland but hasn't done loads due to the fact he is a b*****d with people lol,he is grand with his owner but and family but ANYONE else and it's like a piranha ,he does take fox and Sika with little problem but he's a nasty piece of work in all honesty.. ATB Andy.
  9. This was the 1st time we ever took Don away from home for a few bunnies..he done ok? Missed quite a few due to not knowing the lamp was rather headstrong and chasing one or two out of the lamp ..just the usual puppy malarkey that i'm sure most of us would of endured at some time? ...ATB Andy.
  10. Well, let's hope you get a bit of luck with the mutts this year mate..because i bet you couldn't wait to see the back of the past year or so when it comes to dogs? Fingers crossed you get summat useful to go to war with come September ..and Minshaw Man this is old Kelsey at 14 years plus...typical woman, the once fine figure she once had long since gone  ..thats what old age does for you ...ATB Andy.
  11. Here's the "part-time" ferreter again lol..the Don dog...
  12. Hey up Nick, aye everything going grand with our team anyways matey, how's you these days and what you got in the kennel? Here's the "dale" dog Don NOT in the Dales ..
  13. This dog here is bred down from my old dog Jack,he resides in Ireland and my lad Ginny Spinner has a youngster out of him,my mate over there doesn't and won't keep even moderate dogs so that says enough to me about how good this dog is? Hopefully the dog will be coming over this season to do a wee bit ..other lads tell me this dog is as good as they come, wind, pace, strike, fieldcraft and even the looks haha..he takes EVERYTHING single handed ..he carries lot's of the Minshaw blood from dogs like Blue,Bulpa,Cora,Jack,Kes etc: and he has aready produced some fantastic grafters over the water too
  14. This is the Traveller dog on the right Bosun, the other dog was his litter brother and was Vic's dog, that's his son Shaun with the dog and YES he called it Blue ..the dog never made the grade and Vic sold him to a lad from your neck of the woods on the strength of seeing it catch 16 rabbits the lad payed £600 for the mutt lol..this night here we caught next to nothing but the dog was totally fecked,he was at the point of collapse,he couldn't even exit a field via the gate,he mis-judged the gate and walked into the hedgerow and just lay down exhausted..he was one although bred to be a cracker j
  15. I wouldn't say it's common Giro but it's not totally uncommon either..i know the litter sister to my old dog Jack and Joe's dog Moscow called Jill suffered from them also another brother of their's over near Joe also called Jack did too,it was on tablets all it's life for it and another one that i know that suffered from them was a blue bitch me mate got off me out of Jack and Kelsey, she killed a bit of gear but the fits became to regular and unpredictable as to when she would have them so he decided the only option was to have her pts...i can't think of anymore off the top of my head that suf
  16. Hey up Baz ..i only know of two that got any serious graft and that was our Ginny which Joe gave us and also Maurice that Joe owns, ours was a belter and i honestly do mean that, never seen her bottomed and she ran some gear on plenty of occasions the shit hit the fan over the Border and that was that so to speak ..after ours had gone a lad tried to sell our Dean one for "daft" money,it wouldn't of been so bad if it had caught a half decent bag of gear but it hadn't! He was trying to sell it on the strength of what Maurice and Ginny had caught,it didn't retrieve or nothing, smart dog but hey ho
  17. Cheers CP ..aye sadly no longer gracing this land ..that Typ dog really did look the real deal but just shows you that looks ain't everything? I think he's serving a purpose on the bigger stuff these days and to a decent standard so atleast he is doing a job and not gone on the dog merry-go-round or even worse? ATB Andy.
  18. This dog Typ was out of the above litter,a beautiful looking animal but apparently the dog was a short runner (no wind)? That really surprised me even with the Greyhound blood but he was in the hands of a decent dogman and he knew more than me about the dog. ATB Andy.
  19. This was old Jack's very last mating and was to a Greyhound bitch,he was just a couple of weeks shy of his 13th birthday ..Sox came from the mating as did EDRD's bitch.. Sox... Sox once again...
  20. My type of mutts..nice and steady and put em in the bag...what else do you need? ATB Andy.
  21. Busher what ever happened to the Shane dog in his later years? I know the lad who originally owned him whom i used to hunt with packed the game in and he got rid of him? Did you see him at graft and if so what did you make of him? I'm sure his sire was a dog called Nailer but could be wrong on that front? ATB Andy.
  22. This is Cora with her pups...she was no longer running here, just jumped in for a pic haha..Kelly & Jill were litter sisters to my dog Jack & Joe's dog Moscow...ATB Andy. ..and that is the LAST today
  23. He was a cracking dog, granite tough and not without a wee bit of wind either..i know his blood is still prevelant in loads of dogs up this way? ATB Andy.
  24. You ain't wrong with the hair do's mate  ..thank feck time moves on well in this instance anyways
  25. Last one for today as it's feeding time at the zoo ..two sons of Blue in Dan & Rambo and a dog that many of the Bull x lads will know from this neck of the woods called Shane ...ATB Andy.
