    id try getting the dog to chase a ball, striking at a moving object aint easy, no matter how easy lurchers makes it look once they got the knack of it.... an if the dog is used to catching a rolling ball an the likes then its only a matter of time, but id say take dog ferreting an usually the urge to grab a netted rabbit will make a dog use its mouth

    i think that the amount of bad dogs about these days is down to the fact that there are so many bad dog men about. imo the quality of dogs has changed over the years and not for the better, the true lurcher man is as rare as a good dog these days. working dogs is more a hobby these days for most folk. dotty do mate we all on here unless we liars make bad dessions from time to time and yes ive made more than my fare share ive bought dogs in as adults to try and save me time and it hasnt worked out so what it was my own fault and money the point iwas trying to make was theirs not the

    i like the dog pal, just beast it with exercise get it on the treadmill. treadmill at ten months? ffs dont put that dog on a treadmill yet, if ye that bothered aboot her weight, get her swimming i wouldent mate but if thats what he liks to do with pups more fool him,and she swims most days just up the time a swimmin as season gets closer, an all will be well

    i have stated in the origonal post that i have bought in dogs....... i have not always been around the people i am now, so i have had to buy in dogs, the 2 currect lurchers i have here where both bought in, due to the fact i wanted a specific type an none a my mates bred that type......... but does that gee me the right to sell the pups on, if i breed????? after all i payed for my dogs, an have spent a load a money on there upbringing........ fact is we see pups for sale everyday, even at low prices, any most people say, its to cover the cost a rearing the pups....
