when i have had nervous ferrets that are likely to bite when surprised, i clench me fist an let hem smell me knuckles an hand, while i pick it up nomal way with other hand, but if the hutch is down low, lift it up so she can see ye coming an that she will become easier to handle in no time

is her hutch on the floor??? had a kit that was scared if ye tried picking it up off floor a few years a ago.. musta been daunting at the sight/shadow of a big fecker leaning over ye, she ended up coming awrite wae a bit of confidence building.... just a thought

anybody got any more info on this dog, mate of mine has just bought an irish blue, an its turning into a decent looking animal, tho he paid well over the top for it, an this dog an others such as geronimo are all on his pedigree..... ill get a copy of his pedigree, an pics of the dog

no luck haha, most a yous are sitting in a comfy chair on a computer surfing the net haha in my eyes being unlucky wid be sitting in a mud hut, unable to feed your kids, an possibly dying of some mad disease... as tomo said, i have a wife, 2 kids, an the wind in my face most days/nights when oot wae me dogs doing what i love im a lucky fecker an so are most of us

just me but i would never feed a feral pigeon to me ferrets reason being is how do you know its always been feral?? or if its feral full stop?? lots of rollers or homers dont get rung an often go feral an these birds if in the care of a half decent pigeon man will have been given all sorts of meds..... probs a slim chance of anything happening, but still, saying that they are the 1 thing bar rats i dont feed the ferrets

getting rid of red mite

dotty......... ivermectin is good just 1 drop on the back of a birds neck but not sure how good it is for red mite, as they live around the loft and come on the pigeons to feed ( especially nestlings) after dark .... easy to see if you got red mite ...check under nestlings wing & leg joints.
