    why not just find another fellow american that breeds dogs for work mate not saying yer dog if put to another wont make hunting dogs, but i am saying even if they do when compared to a purpose bred dog off parents that both do the job, then they will probably not be as good, if i was you, id wait it out an get a pup from tested parents where in usa are you, as we have a few other hillbillys i mean americans on the site haha

    man after my own heart,down my way we give them to mates who are always willing tho repay the favour in the future when your stuck .I gave my colliexwhippetxhound away last week for free to a chap who wanted him for rabbits.Hes delighted with him so far catching daytime and on on the lamp.He rang me friday offering me a 12 month old terrier for free but sadly my kennells are full ,its just the way we do things.Personally i think money will ruin the dog world but thats just my opinion

    i belive you can improve the chances of it doing the right thing once slipped by given loads a confidence as a youngster but like you say, you can train a pup, but when its slipped its on its own, its instinct
