    well said pal this is going to be one of those subjects were people are going to disagree but if you havent got permission on the other land theres nothing you can do about it any body says they wouldnt shoot them if the tables were turned they wouldnt be doing the job their there to do simple as. nice shooting boys keep it up.

    its ok if you can get at them had an earth the other day under a f****n great ash tree couldnt get at them after 4 hours gave it up as a bad job. good luck with them pal hope all goes well.

    nice going lads have you got the lamp on top of the motor. iv got a trooper and was on about putting it on the front on the bullbars.

    dont you get paid for getting people like this sectioned? but yeah, try shopping centers/coffiee houses (yuk) and alike, u wanan try less agressive enviroments, less chance of picking up a slag. or get a bar job n become a playa iv done the bar job thing its not all its cracked up to be i ended up with clap and a fukin nutcase of a misses

    Hi mate, i was doing lots of larsen trapping in the past, not as much now by a long way. I would always advise to be observant on your patch you need to locate a pair of crows, watch where their territory may stretch to, and another pairs territory begins... if you have located a nest your well inside a pairs territory ( dont put the trap in sight of the nest). If you use mainly top entry like me, place the trap near a small tree or fence, out in the open, and put it there at dusk.     i dont no about anywhere else in the country but im out lamping, or try to get out everyweek most times i dont see alot as i made an impact when i first took my shoot on but i very rarely get a litter off cubs on my patch because im out lamping and if i dnt lamp them i get em in a snare so cubbing isnt that bigger a problem when i start to see an increase is in about a month or so when the cubs have started to move on and thats when i start seeing a few more. but even then there that daft you can sqeek them into ten foot of the vehicle in they dont get to the stage where they pose a massive th

    iv had my crow traps out for about a week now and iv only had 1 dont no why there not entering like they did last year. is any 1 else strugeling or are you catching plenty?

    sorry forgot to say that you`ve left it a bit late to cut pegs you should cut them after leaf fall in the dorment season as the sap is now rising, i dont know how this will effect wood cut now but it may make it more brittle? dont know!, could take longer to season i guess but if worst comes to worst ive got some meranti from work! might need a diamond blade to cut that stuff though! cheers hyperion yeah it will only take longer to season and tools will need cleaning more often, but in the long run it should be fine it will be more supple now cos of the sap andeasier

    iv never used anything on any off my traps apart from wood stain on my larsens never thourght about it really dint want any scent to be off putting.

    aye hes keen mate a dont get him out alot so he makes the most of it when he gets out a had him out for a run last nite he got 3 runs on the big ears and got 2 of them nice one pal how old is he. he has just turned 2 fukin hell you still got a good few years left wi him then hope he stays a good one for you.

    what i would do pal is put you fen traps round the edge if your heap with tunnels over them but try and sink the traps down so as you look through the tunnel theres nothing bloking run through. and if your going to bait the live trap id use chocolate or somthing sweet like that. hope all goes well let me no how you get on.
