    for cats depends what they allow on the water try a dead bait but dont use trebles use something like a size 2 or 1/0 alot of cats have been caught on large halibut pellets but remember their mouths are huge so dont be frightened to use big baits cats have poor eyesight so use really high oil baits that add to the attraction and they can be quite nocturnal. as for rigs use strong abraision resistant braid the stronger the better but dont overdue the main line. atb let us no how you get on.

    my dogs are in kennels matey so dont have that problem but if it were me i wouldnt pay a penny you have gone to lengths to keep your dogs in they should do the same with theres f**k them.

    bet you aint been together a year yet...give it time when he starts trying to wriggle out of gong together, its a mans way of saying GET TO f**k Doing things together is the best way to ruin a relationship....best way to keep it going is to ration time together haha been together for two years

    id try and stop him chasing rabbits and hares matey because if your going rough shooting you dont want the dog that far in front of you and if he starts chasing a rabbit or hare he can put things up and your no where near to shoot them. if you go beating and your dog does it the keeper will not be very happy with you either.

    what i would do mate is try everywhere if the lake is big then yeah try near snags and features but when ever iv been trout fishing on big lakes they have been every where really not just in certain spaces they like to patrol round the edges of areas rather than the middle. good look catch a good one and keep us posted.

    just got home from work to be greeted warmly by the dogs and getnowt but greif of my missus it does my fecking head in all i want to do is go night fishing with a mate. any body elses missus like that.
