another dog fox and another....
Wanna be farmer replied to stubby's topic in Snaring, Trapping & Pest Control
Nice one Stubby. It's not very often you can kill too many foxes. We kill loads on the estate. This is a little off the topic, but what do you think of the MK3 locators Stubby? -
If you class cutting a joint of Venison up then yes, but apart from that no. Haha. I think there's more chance of Hens growing Teeth then catching a Deer by its Antlers haha.

Number one, no text talk. Number two, you've contradicted yourself by saying you've never known anyone with one. Number three, you're rude and ignorant. Number four, you won't get help off of any falconers with that attitude. Number five, BOP take an awfull lot of time. You need to do ALOT of reading up and courses, also going out with falconers is good. Falconry is a VERY expencive and VERY time consuming sport. I have read up on BOP for at least a year, been on courses, etc. If you want help off of people, get some respect for others. By the sounds of it you couldn't organise a jumble s

Silly Police dogs At least they cleared some hedges for you.

No, it's highly illegal except from in Wales and i think you have to be authorised to do so too. But you are NOT allowed to trap and release Badgers in England, unless you have lawfull access/reason to do so, plus i think you need a licence. You are not allowed to kill Bagers in England. PLease someone correct me if i'me wrong, but this is what i've been told.

Isn't RobSharpe back again now? That should sort it out. From what i've heard he won't take peopel posting shit. I don't think it's hard to deal with people who post discriminating/illegal content. Just press the delete button on their profile. Too many numb skulled fools on here who post illegal content about what they do with their lurchers on an OPEN forum.

Badger are a protected species in the UK. Ric Remember, the cull in Wales that they are doing/done? I don't know much about it but i think only certain peoplen are allowed to.
-
It won't be too long untill hunting with lurchers is illegal unless people start to buck their ideas up. Theirs alot on this site who openly admit to coursing a hare with their dogs and other illegal activities. That is what gives the sport a bad name. People admitting their stupidity on this site, then the antis seeing it. Come on lads, there will be no legal sport left with lurchers anymore unless some buck their ideas up. I'm only a young lad but i want my future kids to have the opportunity to hunt rabbits with lurchers, but it's not going to happen if some keep going the way they are. As

Birds, Rabbits and Fox, can also be trapped.
-
You're bang on Wilfy mate. It's normally the chavvy twats you'll find who do this. On the estate we don't have many problems with poachers, but there is some, it's normally the chavs who poach with their Lurchers that have gold rings on and Rebock trainers causing trouble.

Alright mate, it's Alex the lad who sold you the glove the other day mate. Have you got everything yet mate? Give Rickardo a bell or something mate. I'm sure he'll have something for you.

Don't know how to operate Nero 6. Have a look on the internet mate.

I use Nero for that mate. But i suppose you could use Media Player, but i'm not sure how to.

I THOUGHT IT WAS ILLEGAL TO SNARE A FENCE LINE NOW OR HAVE I GOT THIS WRONG Right and wrong mate, you can't snare on fences near public foot paths or where there are livestock present. -
fixed fence snares

I've put a post on your other thread, but i'll put the same on this one. Are the runs regularly used? If you are fence snaring, you normally can see a little bit of discolouring on where the rabbits are hopping through depending on what type of fence. Is there anybody else on your permission? You're more then likely setting them wrong. Personally, i wouldn't be using 4 ply snares for fence snaring at this time of the year. How are you setting them? Send me a picture or something? I'm not the best at snaring, but since i've been working with a keeper i'm much better. -
If you ever come to make one, make it as big as you can mate. The one that's on the estate is 8 foot long and 4 foot wide, it's made out of strong weld mesh and it's heavy, the plus side to it is it's very unlikely to get nicked as it's size and the pegs that are in it.

If i come up in the half term, i'll bring one of me Fenn traps and a tunnel up, it shouldn't take too long to get it. Often you don't even need to use bait, i trapped a squirel a little while ago with a Fenn and i just stuck the tunnel and trap next to a tree where i've seen a few squirells, but that's outside, never trapped one in a loft space though.

If it's a MK Fenn trap, definately John B. I purchased one off of him and i had a problem with it, but the problem was my fault as when i was setting it i was setting it on concrete and when i pushed the two arms down, they wouldn't go down far enough to set because the little ring thing on it was pushing against the ground. I was on the phone to him for well over ten minutes and we couldn't suss the problem, he offered me a new Fenn trap but i said wait a little while so i can have another look at it, then i sussed the problem (because of the little setting ring on the trap was pushing agains

Mechanicaly recovered/formed means that they get a load of carcusses and then they jetwash all the meat off of them.

He must have watched Saw. Tragic disaster though.

Try feeding her outside I try but she won't eat it outside. I'll leave it and her outside for at least and hour and she won't touch it. I'm not stupid Hollie.
-
I don't like to giver her it whole because she trapes it all over the kitchen floor and the blood goes everywhere lol. Then the old deer has a moan.
